- In this episode I am riding 200 kilometers of gravel, straight through the heart of Iceland, passing glaciers and thermal hotspots before traversing 180 square kilometres of ancient lava fields. Iceland is truly an off-road motorcycling dream!

Gravel Road's and Noraly alone for many Kilometers. She is in her Happy Place now. Just cannot escape tourists on an island. Wonderful arial video and one hand riding on gravel roads while flying the drone ... it still amazes me. Hope you got to pack up a dry tent in the morning.

Thanks for this great video, and welcome to my homeland. Just a small note regarding the mosquito, Iceland is actually one of few countries without mosquito. Those are black flies, “mý” in Icelandic. Hence the the name of lake Mývatn. Safe travel, enjoy this fantastic country and landscape!

Ronin is doing well on tracks it was not designed for. I am impressed with your one handed control as you film the view for us.
Thanks to the kindness of an Icelandic businessman whose place I was inspecting, I visited Gullfoss about 15-20 years ago. He also took me to see a few other sights in western Iceland. The apparent colour of the water was an interesting yellow/gold when the light was right, which I think is how the waterfall got its name. Iceland is certainly worth a visit.

Hey Noraly! Just back from a month riding through the Alps so am now busy washing clothes and catching up on your vids! Iceland looks simply amazing.I loved the clip of you lining up with all the GS riders!! No need for 1200cc! My Dad was a sailor and told me the best cure for seasickness was to eat a little and then have a snooze. It worked for me on the crossing to Dublin once. So glad you're exploring again. Wish I could be doing the same......

Oh how I envy you! Looks like a so nice place to camp, even though not ideal weather. Love that you always share what you are having to eat too! During your Season 2 ride it was always nice to see and hear your description of the meals you were having in each country...and your rooms. No matter how bad the rooms looked to me, you were always so cheerful about them. In fact, you are the most positive person I've ever seen! Thank you again Noraly. What a amazing place Iceland is. I visited it in March. I really want to take my R1200gs there and explore those gravel tracks after watching this video. Great choice of bike. Nice and easy to manage and Honda's legendary reliability will get you to your destination without any drama.

Now that brought back some great memories, Noraly. We shipped our bikes from Immingham in the UK in 2017 and spent 2 weeks camping all around Iceland. We camped at the hot springs you visited after visiting the Puffins up in the northern Fjords. Sorry you are having such rainy weather, hope it improves for you!
