The Fram Ultra Synthetic oil filters made up to the year 2020 were better than the current ones. The year the Fram filters were made are in small numbers on the Fram box. The Fram FE Series oil filters are among the best oil filters on the market today. Including the Wix XP.
I have a suspicion these videos are fake anyway. Just for amazon referral links for their travel budget. I doubt these people actually tested anything.
Unless you RUN 10K mi+ oil changes its not best at all. 99% efficiency @30 microns!! That's lots *extra wear particles* vs 20 micron filters like Fram Ultra /Royal Purple. Be careful. Facts.
@Balticblue93 it clearly says it uses a synthetic media. 99%+ @20 microns. I've heard of Endurance but don't shop Walmart. Ever. Prefer Meijer. According to Frams own data /website. Ultra is extremely similar to Endurance just filters longer. Who would go 20k-25k mis on ANY filter. Lol I run 2 oil changes on Ultra Synthetic w/ 5k mi OCI max. Oil analysis shows excellent results! Thanks.
@@Davido50he didn't say anything about its efficiency. He's talked about its flow. What good is a filter there filters out to all the particles but doesn't get enough oil to the engine and your engine burns out
Some people say---- Don't waste your money on this or that---- When it comes to oil and oil filter, I'll say abortion do your homework, and if the best is more expensive, buy it and yes spend more money, save your money on anything you want except on food, your mattress, oil and filters, shoes, or if you need a gun for protection buy the best you can afford too, i remember i friend of mine he used to drive a corvette and he used premium gas and he used to eat 99cent cheese burgers.
Fram? You can't be serious and you couldn't have done legitimate testing. Fram oil filters have an absolutely terrible reputation. Even their best filters are sub-standard. I've worked on every type of car, truck, motorcycle, etc. since the 1960s and I've never known a single knowledeable mechanic who would recommend any Fram oil filter..Some refer to them as The Orange Cans of Death. Fram's air filters, on the other hand, aren't too bad but there is better. Those in the know avoid Fram oil filters like the plague. Your credibility vanished with this video.

If you change your oil every 3.000 miles, all modern day filters are good, even Fram ultra, any changes above 3.000 your on your own.
This just gets better as I watch it…
Where are the test results? You don’t have any? Well, this is totally useless.
You had my attention until you named a Fram ultra filter, they are cheap made junk. Turned the video off after that.

@@donnyhoney151 Fram Synthetic Endurance is great filter. It’s new, newer than the Fram mentioned here.

But why would you rate the normal k&n filter and not their premium one??
Puralator Boss id full synthetic filter media. Not blended media as this video states.
Purolator Boss for flow and Amsoil for filtration
I change every 3 to 4k so i use the purolator one. Cant beat purolator
Purolator Boss any day…
All day, every day.

@@Davido50 so it’s so inefficient you need to run 10 k plus oil changes…your a wack job. FACT lol…
Boss prolator is 99% at 20 microns not 30.
My biggest concern is do these better filters restrict oil pressure? If they do am I damaging my engine by making my oil cleaner?
Wouldn't ever let my vehicles go over 5000 miles without an oil change, no matter what oil or filter i use.
Napa gold is my choice why pay all that money when this filter does the same thing
An excellent choice.
Napa gold🎉🎉❤❤
Fram Ultra Synthetic is superior- 99%+ efficiency @20 microns. 💯
Test showed it restrict flow too much, I will not use that.

Fram’s new Synthetic Endurance is what I use on my Lexus ES350. I get it a Walmart.
Kn,N,,makes GREAT OIL FILTERS TOO🎉🎉🎉❤❤
The Motorcraft is NOT a synthetic filter and clearly doesn't offer synthetic filtration performance.

That's your opinion. Do a google search and you'll see most top reputable sites recommend Fram.

Exactly
You did not test anything.
ok whatever you say
Long commercial
Fram 😂😂😂😂😂 wouldn’t put that 💩 in my car even if it was free with all the moisture I’ve seen in them
Fram is garbage, buy Purolator Boss and you're good to go!!!
