Really good teaching, Adam. The scripture that came to mind was out of 1st Corinthians 13:12 "For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known." So I guess Jesus was the temporary removal of that glass - it's the time when everyone could see plainly (at least as much as they were given the ability to perceive) the mysteries of heaven and who God really is. It's interesting that over and over again, scripture says that the significance or true meaning of what Jesus said was hidden from people (even the disciples with respect to the significance of the cross) and their eyes and ears had to be opened by GOD in order to understand. The two men on the road to Emmaus were PREVENTED from knowing that the man they were walking with was Jesus and the only time their eyes were opened was after they took communion with him (Luke 24:13-35). Wild. I'll be giving this some thought and prayer - it really makes me think about how much I need to be relying upon Jesus to show me the truth in all matters, even the things I think I already know pertaining to scripture. We desperately need ears to hear and eyes to see in this day and age. God bless you.

My eyes are opened. Hadn't actually considered that the Lord came to start the end times and have often dismissed "preachers" who say we are in the end times believing as scripture says, nobody but God knows the time or day. This makes more sense now. Thank you for this word

I knew that the Lord was revealing this to me...as I read the Word for myself!" And he has decades of material online on youtube...and some books. He is refreshing and lives what Jesus taught. Yes I agree. I can’t remember what passage it is, but it can be google for the location of it. But it speaks about, “The kingdom of God comes not with observation saying it’s over here or over there, but behold the kingdom of God is within you.” And this is speaking of the Holy Spirit coming inside and dwelling in the hearts of men. This is what the Prophet Joel prophesied about. God said I will walk in them and talk in them, I will be there God and they shall be my people. God’s Spirit dwells inside of men once they are born again of the water and Spirit. This is God’s kingdom coming not (on) but (in) earth (earthen vessels) and then his will can be done through us by his Spirit. The Bible says we have this treasure in earthen vessels. The Holy Spirit is this treasure. A kingdom is a place where a King rules and have domain…(King…dom). Jesus Christ reigns as King in the hearts of men who have been born again (converted). That’s why we are the salt of the earth. The light of the world, bcuz King of Glory radiates from within us. But yes it is a visual Kingdom that is still yet come when he returns. But his kingdom is already being established in earthen vessels now.

It confirms to me that in Matt 15:18 the correct understanding is not “pass- as to be destroyed”, but the first definition is “to come near aside that is to approach (arrive)”. It’s just not in the fullness! Thank you for helping to confirm this understanding. The Law did not pass away, it is the reflection (fruit) of the spirit or change rather than the impetus for change.

Jesus was saying the kingdom of God was in their midst : Zephaniah 3:17… the Jews would have understood what Jesus was saying. The Holy Spirit testified to the Jews concerning this kingdom in Act 3 of Peter prophesying Joel. We are in the last days and the end will come when the times have reached their fulfillment which is what is prophesied in revelation. You can only understand the New Testament through the lens of the Old Testament. That is shared through our all the 27 New Testament books. Even Jesus said I have come to fulfill the law.
There is a " difference " between the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of GOD. In the new testament, heaven is a reference to that which is Spirit. The Kingdom of heaven is that which is governed by the SPIRIT of GOD. The Kingdom of GOD is that which is the domain of the Triune GOD: FATHER, SON, and HOLY GHOST.
Dispensationalists will cherry pick through specific references to establish their idea that there is one kingdom for Jews and another for gentiles. I completed and study of every NT reference, mapped it out in an easy to visualize Google Sheet. It is clear that the Dispensational assumption fall completely apart when you start looking beyond the handful of proof text they use. Most of their follower are Free Grace types that would be to worried about WORKING for salvation to do any serious bible study, or they just want a “salvation” without God’s interference in their lives, so they hang on to garbage teaching for dear life.
I will have to disagree with you on this one friend. Matthew describes what the kingdom of heaven is in Matthew chapter 8. The kingdom of heaven is where Christ is physically at a time. The kingdom of God is where God is. So the kingdom of heaven is during the thousand year millennium and also why he was roaming to earth. The kingdom of God is when the new Jerusalem comes down onto the new heaven and new earth.

Strange how most Christians still think the Beginning is where creation begins. Hallelujah the beginning of the last days made possible through the man Jesus Christ by his God.
I think, as you said, that many people are waiting for the kingdom of God where Jesus will return and fix everything. I believe, as you also said, that the kingdom is here now. I think the return of Jesus will happen when we get things in order and prepared for Him to bring immortality to us. Dominion and oversight of God's earthly creation has been given to humanity. We are the ones who will fix the mess on this earth by carrying out our assignments as kings, priests and ambassadors. That is what it means for the kingdom and will of God, to come in earth, as it is in heaven. Creation is groaning, waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. At that time when everything has been placed under the feet of Christ through His body, Jesus will have a global system in place to reign over. The age that old covenant people lived under, ended in the first century. Old things are gone, all things are new, including a new humanity in the likeness and nature of the last Adam.

See, I thought the kingdom of God was when the Holy Spirit dwells in man. And the kingdom of heaven will be the ushering of God‘s kingdom on earth.
