As a half korean named casper(born in scandinavian country norway) this feels like a car i need to drive at least once in my lifetime. Hopefully an awd N model comes around🤭

@@CarSceneKorea If this Casper will be brought to the Philippines, this car will be categorized as a City Car or A-Segment Car and not a Mini SUV/Micro SUV.
Remember this kind the cars for people’s living in a big city, small alley street and short commute.
So don’t complain too much about power and size. I think this car is perfect for HCM city, Tokyo, New York , Paris and islands.

What's mileage claimed? And real time mileage in City
12.3 to 15.5 km/L is the official number from Hyundai, but you can easily exceed those if you try. If you floor it on the other hand, the number drops drastically.
Does anyone know if this car will come with right hand drive? There should be a casper N with 6 speed automatic transmission turbo, AWD with pad shifters, and diff lock.
Casper currently is limited to domestic(Korean) market atm. Shame!

If your county's been getting micro cars such as Picanto, this would arrive. Definitely not for the entire globe though.

It's for domestic market only, but Casper Electric will be sold to Europe at least ;)

There are some points where Picanto prevails, but overall, I'd go with Casper.

Good restayling of Suzuki ignis. I prefer the length of the Suzuki. However, the interior finishes are excellent. Even venus or whatever it's called is pretty. But how much does the 1.0 turbo consume? I prefer the manual gearbox, the car with the automatic one is too noisy.
I've been a manual driver ever since I could drive, still own a stickshift 370z that I intend on keeping forever. It does 12.3km/L(combined, City 11.0km/L and Highway 14.2km/L)
@@CarSceneKorea well it seems to me a lot, 8 liters/100km mix, but maybe I'm wrong. Still, it's a performance engine.
@@CarSceneKorea that is, I don't know it is comparable I think to the 1.0 turbo Renault, with 100hp where I live is on Dacia duster but the car is big but it weighs just 1250kg, they also offer it with LPG/petrol engine. I tried it and it's not bad in terms of torque and the fact that it has 6 gears means you are not always revved up and consume less.
Pardon me, I probably was half asleep giving that reply last night. I didn't even finish off my sentence there. All that 370z thing was to relate to you about the manual gearbox that I also too love. Numbers you see at the end is not about 370z, it's Casper's 🤣
Don't get me started on 370z's fuel economy. I honestly don't even know. I just refill it up whenever I need to haha

Tata Punch is a segment larger, dimensionally.
@@amarsekhar2560 i think both are micro suv and the size might be different but in the category aspect , its similar .
One thing for sure is that this Casper is at its maximum size restricted by Korean government law being a micro car, 경차. So can't get bigger. It could get taller though, which is seen from Kia Ray.
How to get it where?
It's sold 100% online, at least in Korea.
Hyundai need to bring this to the US and pair it with the IVT transmission. The 4 speed auto is not doing this vehicle any justice, especially on the N/A models. Before any of you crayon eating, glue sniffing, window licking, industrial strength retreads say this thing isn't fit for the US; you need to thoroughly check the status of the US middle class. The days of keeping up with "Jones" are over.
With you on that transmission part! IVT would've worked great with this car. NA model will have a very hard time on freeways though 😭

Let me ask the people who wear a mask when they are alone by themselves inside their car... who are you protecting yourselves from? When I see people drive by me with their windows rolled-up but still wearing their mask it just boggles my mind.
Just trying to be considerate of others bc this is a test driver and there will be ppl driving after me. This vid is quite old too, wish I could take them off just as much.
