I wish we could get the Moro arc with this level of animation. I rewatched One Piece and it's crazy to see how far the quality has come in the last few decades. 🤯🤯🤯
Dude! If they did the Moro Arc with this quality animation, I would actually watch Super again! Hell, I would buy a DVD of the episode just to show my appreciation!
I think Daima is a way to get kids into it so that they have a dragon ball anime to watch so that Super can become non family friendly, for example actually have some blood in the show.@@HieuLe-fi2ri

Right, but OP lacked pacing and god tier animated fights in the past. Constant breaks between the fights. Such slow pacing that I literally fell asleep. JJK or these other animes mentioned, I was jumping around the room full of excitement
@@lawrence9713 Dude I don't blame you. After Enies Lobby it becomes a slog. I reccomend dropping the anime after Paramount war. That moment S-Hawks was weaving n dancing around Zoro n when Zoro got flashbacks of Mr.1 when S-Hawks pull his shredder arms was chef kiss👌🔥 God if re cap episodes are meant to give animators time to cook, then this was well worth it (Personally I wouldn’t mind waiting 2 weeks for a new episode but still this is cool nonetheless).
I like that we got a brief glimpse of the threat the Seraphims are when Blackbeard fought off S Hawk. Now we get the full course meal of how monstrous they are
Fight was probably nostalgic for Zoro. Here are some examples why: Fighting with Kaku in his arms (like using Ussop as sword) Mihawk the one zoro is trying to surpass. King the Lunarian he recently beat. All combined with Mr ones fruit. Then he comes face to face with the paw paw fruit in a time where nothing happened.
Reminder that according to Zoro, S-Hawk is closer to a human than Mihawk is, meaning Mihawk is still Zoro's goal (for everyone arguing Zoro already surpassed him)
That’s similar to the “Choso vs Itadori” fight in the bathroom. In the manga the part where they start fighting and the AMAZING music plays is 4 pages long, in the anime it’s a whole 3 minute scene of them just constantly fighting with no pauses to talk or anything like that. Just goes to show how much better anime’s can be than manga.
I loved seeing the recration of Mr. 1, just a brief snippet because if it went into any more time explaining why Zoro cares about the power, it would impact the pacing of the fight
@ChrisPBacon-zf5gm Naw fam. It been evolving ill give you that but that started like back with Katakuri and maybe even a little before that. Cause Snakeman brought the hype.
This actually makes me super hyped for the fights later on in this arc, if the choreography is good on this little clash the real fights should be juicy.
A slight technical correction: 1-frame cuts outside of impact frames are usually avoided for readability and to prevent seizures. Most quick cuts are 5-10 frames long iirc. I know “frame” was used colloquially but I just like to share info Love the vids, D 👌🏾 You da goat
I just love these fights, because these animators take it to the extreme despite the manga being shorter than it is. Easily one of the bigger reasons why i love one piece
We get a few religious references here and there. Ace’s back tatoo was originally drawn as a manji but was changed to avoid being confused for a swastika.
2:20 paul walker was a legend in the car scene for his appearances in the fast and furious movies. While driving his car he crashed and died. Rip legend 🕊️
This is what happens when you treat your animators with respect. Toei’s one of the few anime studios in Japan that has their own union and has a record of treating their animators fairly.
Now that I've seen it, it's impossible for me to not compare everything I see to Fog Hill Of The Five Elements. And this lives up pretty well, so awesome
The JJK anime needs to take some notes on how to display a lot without losing the audience in what's going on. That Sukuna vs Mahoraga fight was insane, but 50% of it I couldn't even tell what was happening.
i love it when the animators dont just animate the stuff exactly like manga (like manga readers prefer) but add extra scenes and flush out the fights because its way better
No wonder Fujitora said “We don’t need the Seven Warlords anymore”, most of the Seraphim are better in almost every way, and don’t get on your nerves with piracy or truancy.
Without question, S-Hawk will be Zoro's last fight, as you said he is all of Zoro's greatest challenges wrapped in one. Even Mihawk, man gonna earn that title of World's Strongest Swordsman then have the best fight ever against 'God's' strongest angel.
