Welcome back! Pls consider making a video about all the bad PSA labels out there! People are paying premiums for wave 2s they think are wave 1! Lots of fools gold out there.
Welcome back! Love to see the content revival, even if you can't put in the time for videos would love to see the website and text based content again.
Hey man i was thinking it would be awesome to see your setup for your cards , how you keep them organised , the sleeves you use , binders etc Where you make most of your deals (sell buy) Hope youre well !
About the comment about the wave 1 foil rarities, prices of collectibles are driven by scarcity/rarity AND demand. Just because something is rare, that doesn't mean it is guaranteed to have value. Additionally, when it comes to demand, there are typically two sources of demand: the "emotion" type he mentioned and also the speculative buyers (e.g. investors). The first type can form a fairly stable collectible market, while the latter can form a bubble type of market. The challenge is determining which market is in. For example, is the Cloud wave 1 foil worth $1500 because a genuine collector is willing to pay that much, or is a collector investor willing to make the bet that the price will increase? The sharp increase in prices could indicate that the increased investment interest in TCG lately is the cause of the demand. I would imagine that a natural demand would cause the price to experience a natural (read: slow and steady) growth. Therefore, be careful when trying to enter new investment opportunities with FFTCG. Don't get caught with your pants around your legs due to intense FOMO. Always do your DD!
A lot of this video has come to pass as still true in 2023, but one thing I think that you may have been wrong about is that Chapters has actually become significantly scarcer and more valuable over the past couple years. I don't know if it's because of its association with FFTCG, or because some people just decided to take to it late and there wasn't much supply so it was easy to remove from circulation, but Chapters' spike has persisted even after the pandemic boom subsided. So I'm wondering if FFTCG were to die, could the value of wave one or even FFTCG in general still survive due to its general collectibility? It seems that a tcg, especially one of likited supply, can dip in the short term but survive financially in the long term even if its game dies.
how do you feel about the older chapter sets? i've been sitting on a few boxes of those (multiples of ch I, III, IV, VIII, and XIII) oh, i got to the end where you talk about it lol nevermind
Hello there, totaly dig your channel and I have some ideas to improve it. Would love to help produce content if you were open to the idea since the growth of this community is so important. I'm just a Final Fantasy fan who recently got into the tcg, but I have been doing marketing for years and I see so many ways we could get people really excited. Small tweaks, big difference, please reach out to me. If no interest, no worries, I really enjoy your videos so keep it up!

For the love of God, please don't throw any of that in the trash.
If your reading this in the future and FFTCG is dead, hit me up ill buy all your cards for 10c each
