    Thank you for this tutorial. But I have to say that not only are you the best at PS I've ever seen but when you were explaining about removing the lock on the background layer you also took a second to mention how to do it with older revisions. No one else is as thoughtful as you in this regards. And buddy that makes all the difference when one is trying to learn to use this software.

    When embarking on any Photoshop project, I always refer to just a handful of people on TH-cam, PiXimperfect is just one of them. Like BLTV, PiXimperfect is a great tutor, always clear, precise, and very easy to follow. There is nothing worse than finding a Photoshop channel only to find that there is no vocal audio, just music. OK for time lapse when someone is showing off their art, but for learning it's a no, no. Therefore, I always refer people to either of these guys if they want to learn.
    Worth a sub any time of the day. Cheers guys!

    You are such an awesome instructor - Thank you! You make everything look effortless, simple, and easy. The subject of layer masks are THE NUMBER ONE most confusing thing about PhotoShop to me and and bunch of other users. I've been using PS for years and still do not completely get it. I am going to watch this video 10x, or until this sinks in.

    • @clevermissfox
      @clevermissfox ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m glad it’s not just me. It took me awhile but it’s basically about erasing an area but have the ability to bring it back later if you want. Like covering something with a box that you can delete later.

    • @AerialLensVideo
      @AerialLensVideo ปีที่แล้ว

      @@clevermissfox Yes, far easier now. NOW... I just wish Lightroom Classic and PS would SHARE more of their magical tools; the way one behaves should be more similar to the way the other behaves. Here is an example: In LR, we can directly SCROLL the size of any brush using one finger on the mouse. Not so with PS. Not whining, just curious.

    I watch your videos maybe more than 6 or 7 hours a day. I reboot the video one more than once, two times and three times to understand the idea well. I was attracted by your simplicity, activity and vitality.
    ...
    Even as I am bad in English I can understand what you are saying because your language is easy and understandable.I loved your style of education and repetition without boredom, which makes it easier for us to learn and save ideas.Unlike others who teach us techniques in limited situations without explaining what this tool means and how to control the properties of this tool.Your channel has put the path of professionalism in everyone's hands.

      In my opinion, the healing brush attempts to blend, whereas the clone stamp almost completely replaces (based on the source you are sampling from). It depends on what you are trying to achieve, but the clone stamp can sometimes be too powerful
