@@onedge1176 The problem with some of the V bloggers is they start catering to a clique be it foodies, or people that are constantly leaving Pattaya for mini trips, etc. This page is more focused on information for X Pats which I appreciate it.
The 1st one is the best so far. I wish I could have seen it b4 I rented where I am now. The rent is incredibly cheap!
When you look at the current rent prices in Pattaya, I cannot see the point in buying, certainly not as an investment.
You should really ask if they have them for sale ,the price and also what the monthly service charge would be.
The service charge on that one bedroom 6,000 baht condo would probably be 1,100 baht a month. The landlord would in effect only be getting 4,900 baht net rent and then he will have costs of decorating and replacing appliances when they get worn out.
Even at those super cheap prices, tehre will be plenty of vacant property because there is an over supply.
Good points. Rents are really down to the bottom to a level where some overseas owners may prefer to keep it vacant. However, the sale prices are not down by a lot yet. It seems many foreign owners can hold on to their condos or Thais are buying hence supporting the sale price. Oversupply ? no doubt. Near future can bring a good buying opportunity.
@@jeswmuke yes Mike I bought 2 at discount keep empty use myself to enjoy until get decent rent just not worth the hassle I'd want 5k just to queue at immigration to report there stay. They come in handy when I go for a walk for toilet stops. Different swimming pools locations when drunk easy to get home or find one. I'm not loosing interest in the bank because that's rubbish. I've enjoyed doing them up during covid. It's a hobby here more than investment. I could of made more money in uk but not so much fun. The good thing about being old is you could be dead tomorrow so enjoy today more. Whats crazy to one person is fun to another buying a bar would be crazy to me it must be our genetic make up.

I love that one bedroom, you could get that for 3 months, use it as your home base and travel around SEA a week here and a week there and have a place to go back to and keep all your stuff , really nice, keep up the great videos EP :-)

Great videos, here in Sweden everything expensive now. Rents like half payment, food sky high, having car is like giving the wallet away.. Olso many retire without having enough too live, , crimes high then ever. Plan retire there in about 10-15 yr with a friend.
Sad to hear about Sweden. Uncontrolled immigration. Always going to happen. I hate Globalism but will become a Nomad soon. Go figure.

These prices are crazy. Basically a return flight for two of us would be more than 12 months rent for the one bed. Absolutely mental.

Maybe you could check out parking of motorbikes undercover.
You could not see if there was any covered parking there.
This may be the best investment in any area I have seen. Excellent find!! Just 1 if each at this or several?? Cheap enough to get now and come later to stay when open.
Great video! Looks like a Finnish condo building as the suomi sign shows outside the entrance. I wonder if these are exceptional prices due to covid with no one visiting there and once things are reopened everything will be jacked up?

I enjoy very much your Condo hunting they are very informative. However, it would be nice if you could also do now and again houses, there are so many of those small hidden so called villages around 3rd. road, Patumak and Jomtien. I am sure it would interest a lot of viewers :) .

You have one of the best channels on TH-cam, very informative, you are providing a great service to people who are thinking of moving to Thailand, like me. I one thing I would like for you to inform us of is, how far is the beach from each condo? And any good restaurants around the condo.

both places - hard up to fill them... wonder how many empty units in places like Pattaya, Hua Hin, Chaing Mai, and even BKK.
I would be interested to know the total rental stock.
Half the units in EVERY building are owned by Thais.
Then a large percentage will be owned by people who never want to rent it out.
It may be a smaller number than you think. ATM it is only people like Dazz who are looking to change that benefit.

Thanks for the vid! Great price. Only 2 concerns: I am hoping that this area is one where I can catch a baht bus and the other issue is that I don't think I saw a cooking area in the room but maybe I missed it. Other than that, what a deal!

Amazing. Suffice to say, to live in Pattaya, there is choice and value. I wonder how these prices compare to what they would have been in 2019? What might the prices become in 2 or 3 years or will Pattaya remain in a situation of surplus supply?? Thanks for doing this.
Awesome prices but you would need a bike otherwise you will be cut off from everything. However everything can be overcome. Swimming pool and washing machine makes it a great deal.
Unbelievable prices, they were probably rented out immediately! Nevertheless, fine examples of the bargains that can be found by locals and local vloggers. Amazing!!!

Incredible deal! I assume you need to taxi everywhere for food etc? About how far to walk for shopping?
Of course cheap but there is small problem🤞. Distance to bus road or taxi or any shopping place. You must walk at least 2 km to bus road in the dark with street dogs. Even you cant find motorcycle taxi always there.You must order from the app.And if you have a guest that you have to send home at night, you will also have to pay a good annual fee for transportation. Pay 2000 more for condo on thappraya road much better.
At those prices and for those prices id take the 2 bed myself and let out the other on a monthly basis*! Those are very attractive prices and considering the times we live in, especially in Thailand right now, it's good to see somewhere being more realistic with it's pricing.
* It's a slightly flippant remark I'm aware of the rules about such things not making it as easy as that.

My preference is for a large one bedroom and near a business area. I want to be able to walk to someplace interesting. Road noise doesn’t bother me.

Thailand Will move off the red list at 4am Monday 11 October. If you arrive in England before then, you need to follow the red list rules.

Another great video Daz thanks a bunch.Like given and I am subscribed.I did email the visa agent you suggested and I have heard back from Darren and it is an ongoing conversation so thanks again for the contact info.I would greatly appreciate a video on the executive 9 hole golf course that is called Asia Pattaya I believe though I may have the name wrong.Including it's location in relation to these condos in the future would be a good idea I think.It is not one of the fancy golf courses that get rave reviews from golf websites but then again it is very cheap to play in comparison.Expats who choose to retire and have a budget of say 2000 baht per day over and above their monthly costs such as rent/electricty etc can start their day with a quick round of golf after breakfast and then clean up and have lunch lounge around for the afternoon or keep busy as to their choice and then off to a nice place for dinner or perhaps hit the bars for some entertainment or both.

So my choice: I can retire totally. If I get vaccinated: 1: Punch out, go to Pattaya. For these prices my Social security alone pays my way not even touching my investment income. 2: Go to another contract job here in the states and save and invest more.
I guess COVID is working in my favor in an odd way. Prices are down, and jobs are plentiful here in the USA in my line of work due to people quitting, big defense budgets passed for projects I work on, etc.
