Yugyeom is, probably, also shedding the innocent image that was attached to him for so long. He's grown up, he's spreading his wings and making sure that people know that. He's the maknae of GOT7. but he's still a grown man. With so much talent and creativity inside that mind of his. I'm so excited to see where he goes and what he does, along with everyone else. Though, it was hilarious seeing BamBam and his debut stages. The CONTRAST. Talk about whiplash.
I like this! Yeap he did had a bit of this in last g7 comeback and i am happy he does feel more mature

In my opinion, Yugyeom's character is just obsessed with the girl and was mentally unstable. Nowhere in the video do we see a clue that they have actually been together. The photo of her that he keeps in a necklace is only her, not with him. I think he stalked her, got angry at her for being with someone (because that's what delusional people do) and went on a killing spree. Gray said in an instagram post that Yugyeom killed him because Yugyeom didn't like his tarot reading, but i guess that could be a joke. If it's not, then maybe Gray did say something to let Yugyeom think he has a chance with the girl and then when it didn't work out he ended up killing him in his rage. I could be (most likely am) totally wrong, but that's how i see it.

You don't have to be scared to give your opinion, PD! It's really okay if the song didn't match your taste, bcs it was happened to me too! I'm an Ahgase, but i like All Your Fault more than I Want You Around, and it's absolutely okay. It's all about personal taste😂

I don't know if I can speak for all Ahgases but tbh we're pretty chill fandom and since we know the best that the boys all have their own music styles, we also understand that there are people who will prefer some things over other! One members music over another's. Thank you for being honest, I appreciate it so much! Also, the fact that you're trying to give R&B a chance even tho it's not your favorite genre - it's already amazing! Obviously people have preferences, there are also artists or genres that I don't listen to (even tho I think these artists are very talented and totally deserve the love!) because their music is just not my taste. There's nothing wrong with that. We're here to enjoy the music after all :) So yeah, I just wanted to say thank you for leaving your comfort zone for R&B, thank you for checking out Jay B's and Yugyeom's music even if they're based in genre you're not a big fan of! As much as I’d like to not feel pressure over such things, people tell me they’re unsubscribing, send me photos of themselves disliking my videos, send me death threats or tell me to kill myself, or just make up rumors or accuse me of things because I didn’t like something from their group.
I’ve learned over the years: never assume you’re smarter than others but also never assume they’re as smart as you. And so I always approach with this pressure to try and maintain a happy balance to keep everyone happy. But thank you I appreciate it a lot truly!

As ahgases we can be very entusiastic and may , as fans, say things, but at the same time we are super chill. As long as you give an opportunity to our artists we are happy more people can have the chance to meet them
So Yugyeom explained that "I Want U Around" was about a nightmare he was trapped in, it kept repeating continuously and that he can't get out of it, maybe that is why its aesthetic was so haunting and the song itself was so repetitive, almost like a torturous lullaby on loop. It also portrays a kind of toxic relationship, where he is obsessed with this one girl that he can't let go of but also can't completely have because he's unsure of it himself. She also keeps him on edge, enticing him but then pushing him away. That's all I could gather lmao. Also thanks for the reaction! And it's completely ok to not vibe with a song (esp as you said that you dislike RnB but are willing to dive in and explore after JAY B's SIU! Thanks for that) but love its visuals, they're both different arts!

True! I haven't even thought of the "shedding from the Idol image" when All Your Fault mv came out. Although pd pointed out that it's just his assumption, all in all, he gave a fair and honest opinion.
Here is my understanding of the All Your Fault storyline: Yugyeom saw the girl he loved kissing another man at 9:01, and Yugyeom was outraged and his life started to fall apart. One time he was drinking and got into a drunk fight at 7:10, he got his ass kicked, and that night he decided to go back and kill every man in the bar. At 7:54, you can see those three dudes he was fighting at 7:10 playing cards in the background. On his way escaping the cop, he hit the girl which is on the ground at the beginning of the mv at 6:32. Realizing he just killed his love, he completely collapsed at 9:26. He kneed in front of his love, and turn himself in.

Yugyeom's solo album is my favorite out of all GOT7's solos - I'm a big RnB and hip-hop fan! You should listen to his other songs on his album!
Having listened to Yugyeoms SoundCloud releases (religiously lol) I knew that this was the sound he was gonna go for but the mv concept was different from what I thought he’d go for. I love seeing this different side of him

Yugyeom is actually listed as first composer for all the songs in the album I think. But gray and cha cha are the producers and co-compose those songs
& today we got another Yugyeom MV like whaaaat. So happy for him, in a month he’s gettin’ what he didnt have in 7 years unfortunately so for now is better than ever. He & JB will be on the R&B side. I Want U Around hyped me up more than I already was for Yugyeom's official solo debut, and he did not disappoint at all (as expected 😋). I also liked I Want U Around more than All Your Fault, they're both amazing songs no doubt, but there's something about IWUA and DeVita's voice that just does it for me (literally so upset I've never heard of DeVita until now 😪)

Tbh I didn't think Yugyeom was capable of this kind of stuff. Ofc when you're an idol under a company you sometimes get to see glimpses of the individual's taste in music and personal style but it is never fully explored because the colors of the group comes first. Yugyeom has a great voice but I feel like got7's music didn't flatter him(personally). He's also a good dancer but we never got to see what he can really do, and there will always be more to show. If this is the direction he's going I'm here for it
Not sure if you followed Yugyeom on his music :) You can check out him and JayB's sub unit Jus2 and Yugyeom's previous SoundCloud music has always been very R&B driven and House heavy. This isn't really that much of a surprise for ahgases because these are songs that we always see in his solo stuffs even before leaving JYPE haha

there’s a theory going around that the album is about falling in love in reverse, because if you look at the tracklist, it starts from I Want U Around and ends with When U Fall, it kinda make sense to me. You should check out devita’s works too if you liked her feature here, she’s amazing 😁 thank you for this video btw, i love watching your channel ♥️
I also preferred All Your Fault for its dynamic instrumental. I Want U Around had that bare-bones trap beat that doesn't mesh well with my own auditory sensitivities, though I will say that Devita's melodic flow saved the song; it reminded me of 'Adios' by Hoody and Gray.

I know I'm late but I'm just soo freaking proud of Yugyeom it's crazy how I got into Jay Park and Aomg before I even heard 1 kpop song and I never though Yugyeom would be with Aomg but he fit perfectly and created one of my favourite albums! I adore khiphop/r&b it's what initially got me into kpop so I'll always have a special place in my heart for to me. I'm just so happy for each and every one of the members.
All that matters is that they're happy!
Gray produced the majority of the songs of Yugyeom's album, that's why it appeared "Gray" in the begging of I want you around, because it's the signature of gray as a producer
We all have different tastes and that’s totally fine! Personally I love RnB so this was right up my alley! The whole album has been on repeat since it was released! But totally get that different genres don’t appeal to everybody so you really don’t need to excuse yourself! Life would be really boring if everybody had the same taste! For all the times I've watched all your fault, I think Yugyeom killed two specific people, first Gray and the second one his girlfriend who was cheating on Yugyeom with Gray! The actor that's in the car might not be Gray but I think it's the same character story wise.
Someome said that all song on the album (point of view: u) is such reverse love story and Yugyeom serves us different story either different taste each of song.

H1GHR/ AOMG music usually usually doesn’t block reactions but I know the boys ( altogether) a distribution deal for group activities with Warner so maybe they also included the distribution for their solos… idk the whereabouts but I’ve heard some content got blocked. I hope they’ll fix it. Reactions is good for the boys.
As for the songs I’m loving soooo much all of their releases so far ! Really rnb as it was always their core vibe when they worked on their SoundCloud songs or the B-sides from GOT7 so I’m so happy they’re thriving and chose to do exactly what they always wanted to release. I want you around and love the way are my favorites from the album ! Today YG actually released a live performance with Jay Park of « Lobe the way » hope you will also check it.
As for the visual I’m loving the dark vibe it’s so contrasting bam bam’s 😂 who had a bright concept. I hope you’ll check his work too by the way.
As for the choreo i think he wants to focus on his vocals since almost everybody knows already he’s one of the best dancers. I feel he wants to show more of his vocal side.

I truly believe in the second option, I've watched the video so many times and I'm convinced that the guy in the car, even if is not Gray IS Gray... So that's why Yugyeom go to hunt him. As someone who's fav music genre has always been rnb it's so strange to me seeing someone say the opposite. Of course everyone is entitled to their likes :) but I am obsessed with Yugyeom's album absolute perfection. My only qualm would be the many features but I guess it's an aomg thing because literally all of their other artists are the same

The MV of All Your Fault is so creative and captivating… it’s my first time watching it but the plot, the implication, the tension and the visuals are so on point. Hard to see m/v with so much plot these days. The portrayal of yugeom going “crazy” after the incident is also really bold… the shot where he got knocked on the road looks like it’s filmed on a go-pro and it’s so cool! Both mvs are pretty much dark concept (which I personally rly like) and the set, the styling and the concept went very well together… I’ll say it a very COOL debut
Also PD, WEi is back with their title track BYE BYE BYE - it’s a fun/refreshing/sexy summer song produced by MosPick (who also produced FOCUS if you still remember that song). I think you’ll like that song too!
