Think about it, you, a law obiding citizen being limited to a 10 round magazine of a handgun, while the criminal/gang member next to you has a 30 round mag of an NFA firearm (submachine pistol, something that citizens cant have.)
FACTS: (1) If you had obtained >10 round magazines prior the confiscation ban or during "freedom week" just after the Duncan vs Bercerra ruling, they are LEGAL TO OWN and USE at least until the constitutionality of the ban is decided in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals (on or after 6/22/21). (2) The penalty for owning an illegal magazine (and getting caught) if the ban is upheld is a $150 fine. (3) After the ban went into effect, and Californians are supposed to turn in their magazines, about a half dozen magazines were turned in out of the millions estimated to be in Californian hands. (4) The post office DOES NOT inspect or X-ray packages for magazines or magazine parts. (5) There are no customs or border inspection for cars traveling between California and other states of the union looking for magazines. (6) Magazine parts can legally be repaired or replaced, even when repeated replacement ultimately replaced every part. Hence, dates on magazine bodies are meaningless for the legal purposes of determining when the magazine was originally brought into a state.
It's hard not to comply here in buffalo new York you cannot get your hands on a regular Glock mag unless your law enforcement or out of state. Wich is a huge bummer I love my Glocks especially Glock 19x with only 10 rounds it sucks
Doesn't sound like it's worth the price, might as well just buy a full capacity mag. Might work with out replacing the follower and spring tho. Looks full sized
Imagine living in cali and ONLY being able to use 10 round mags fuck california and fuck this bullshit government that just wants to fuck us over and keep us as slaves
So you're telling me with the Dremel and a file you could remove those ridges and make that into a normal 15-round magazine but it would still look like a 10-round magazine on the outside
While they are "plastic" magazines, they are actually stamped steel on the inside. from the lips at the top of the mag, all the way down. Cut out that much of the steel, and the interior will collapse.
i live in a free state and mec gar brand sttel mags like walther , canik sig excrtra just put 2 dimples to limit to 10 so i drilled the dimple out and presto 18rd canik mag
Jonathan Futch If it's polymer, sure. Be sure to leave enough meat on the mag. If your mag is metal use a metal insert the size of your mag and ram it home a couple times. If you have a dimpled mag this will work them out.
So i bought g19 gen 3 a couple of days ago it came with 2 factory 15 round mags both of them have the pierce grip extension when i took one of the extension of and it doesn't have the factory insert just the pierce one can i put the glock magazine base plate without an insert without having a problem?
It's probably not a true single stack, as in all stacked on a single file, but it's most likely something in between a single stack and double stack, giving just enough space to fit only ten 9mm rounds.

Don't comply. Law of the land cannot be overriden.
@@Scout339th if only i had an out of state buddy to ship me 20rd mags for my g17

Cause they stole them from people who don't secure their weapons....

*A Dremel Tool or Die Cutter...with the Extra LONG shaft. PLUS New follower and spring... might make that a more functional magazine.*

@@tizben We can't buy a full capacity in New York. The dremel works but it's a little noisy the emptier it gets.
@@MrBigjay98 good point
U don't need a new follower it's the same size as a standard capacity mag.
Spring is not quite as wide
Gee these must be the mags that are issued to the FBI and Secret Service!
interesting, so it's nearly a single stack mag. would make sense given the round count holes go as far down as a standard capacity
Just bought my Glock 17 gen 4 in Georgia and they gave me a 10 round this pissed me off

Just buy som magpul g17 mags and chuck the 10 round mag in the trash

3D printer makes this irrelevant luckily. Print the menendez magazine.
Thank you for not calling a standard magazine a 'high capacity' magazine.

U know what it would do😉😁👍👌
@@2ndamendmentfanboy723 you think it'll work
Your video was extremely helpful. Thank you sir
Cut the spring 2 spring gets you 15 magazine capable
a friend moved out of cali...he dremeled those ridges to increase the capacity

Don't forget the great state of PA! We can have whatever we want as well.
So the dremeling works to make it 15?

@@johnmiller7220 its steel not polymer, mine at least is anyway.. any thoughts ?
My file says different
Why can't you pound out the metal inserts flat so you could get more rounds in their ?
Probably could convert it by filling down the ridges

Would a Pearce grip fit/function on this factory 10 round mag🤔🤔🤔 it would add 2 more rounds but would it work🧐???
Yes
Why were 10-shot magazines specifically produced for pistols?
Because nobody needs 17 rounds to 'defend themselves'. Duh! The politicians know better than we do. We're from the government and we're here to help.
Honey get the dremel ready
If you shave down the sides, will it be a reliable double stack mag?
Yeah
I’m in Cali , and I’m wondering if this mag will fit the g26 and actually work ?
Plz lmk
Yes, I use this mag on a g26 and g27 w a conversion barrel
Good thing I have a dremmel
Is it a double stack or single
martin barraza single stack, the interior ridges make it narrow.
It's probably not a true single stack, as in all stacked on a single file, but it's most likely something in between a single stack and double stack, giving just enough space to fit only ten 9mm rounds.
do you think would this 10rd spring fit in a mag about 1911 thickness?
Best way to increase magazine capacity…MOVE TO A FREE STATE. 🇺🇸👊😎
