Gdy byłem czynnym organistą Józef Skrzek zainspirował mnie.
Do 2 manuałów dostawiłem Korg R3 ze zrobionymi moogowymi dźwiękami.

The sound of the Minimoog speaks to me like no other synth can. Skrzek plays excellently.

This is everything I loved a bout prog when I was a lad. It kind of sings your emotions. ans Skrzek is brilliant at it.
This is one of the most moving pieces I've ever heard in 53 years of music. The fact it uses two of my favourite instruments is icing on the cake.
It is truly complete and I agree with how you feel.

I don't know why but this transports me back to 1973 and being 10 and prog rock on my cousins record player, magic. Deep growl of the church organ and the alto ethereal voice of the Moog. Hope heaven has a synth section.

Canadian prog rock band Saga used Moogs and Minimoog prominently in the late 70's and 80's...awesome idea to combine it with church pipe organ!

Diane Bish did this sort of thing around 1981 or so using an Arp Pro Soloist synth with the Ruffatti at Coral Ridge church. "Bish, Bach, and Baroque" was the album. A shame the combination isn't more mainstream.

This was an instrument in the hands of a pro that did it justice. Such warmth and expression to blend the two instruments. No flash or pomp just emotion and feelings that show a true musicianship and this was thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you for posting a tasteful example of using the mini as an addition to a huge instrument to express beautiful music.

you can, minus the moog of course. The organ music was the only thing I liked about church.
IF ANYONE IS WONDERING HOW TO RECREATE THIS SOUND ON THEIR MINIMOOGS.... I tried to mirror the knob settings I could see in this video. I've been noodling with a free Model D vst. What a powerful and dynamic sound! From what I can see, these are what I guess the settings are (I could be wrong):
All oscillators are switched on and their volumes are set at 12 o'clock
Noise Volume is switched off
All oscillators are very closely tuned
All oscillators are at 8' octave setting
Oscillator 1: Square
Oscillator 2: Smaller square pulse width
Oscillator 3: Smallest square pulse width
Filter modulation: On
Oscillator modulation: Off
Oscillator 3 control switch: Upper part is depressed
Glide: On
Decay: Off
The VCA and VCF envelope settings are too far to guess what they are.

Sands Kreative Verksted I own a Sub 37, not a Model D (Maybe some day I'll get one!). But I will definitely do that when I get the time because I did find a sound that is pretty Pink Floyd-esque!

Yes, yes, yes!!! Simply great!!! I call this "giving a soul to instruments" Two instruments, a little delay, a real natural reverb... and this beats any complex setup built around computers and plugins.

Obydwaj są w mojej Wielkiej Piątce - jeszcze Jon Lord, Edgar Froese i Richard Wright. Józef Skrzek jest ostatnim żyjącym spośród nich i życzę mu sto i więcej lat w dobrej kondycji.

Jozef certainly put his heart in Minimoog and intrument became completely alive. One of the best Minimoog players.

God, imagine being someone who works at that church, like a caretaker, janitor.. anything... you're walking around, tending the rows, collecting psalm books from recently vacated pews or something... and while doing it... you get to hear that. THAT!! o.O .. the best day at work... like, ever.

I keep coming back to this video time and again to be stunned, deeply humbled, and then inspired to be a better musician. And when I feel I may have gained something, the process is painfully and beautifully repeated.
It was seeing Jozef's first organ and Minimoog piece of music that led me to the second (brilliant piece of music.) With that in mind....I found SBB! What a chance to see and hear great music. I have always thought that music one of the art forms that allows us to look at the world in a different spectrum through which we can see and feel experiences of emotion, compassion and an understanding that, language, culture and basic decency is the human paradigm that will unite us all. The thing the ruins us all, without exception is: politics, greed, religion, and all three in a different order. Respect to you all my friends. Love life. Love music. Love and cherish the concept of being able to be creative. Pauly.
