The first shell (with the longest reload) is a reserve shell. Don't use that.
The second shell (with the shortest reload) is the one used to calculate the DPM.
Basically this tank is a reverse autoreloader, with a reserve shell for clutch kills.
basically an IS3 A with a clutch shell (without the trash gun stats ofc)
The Italian TDs in Blitz have the same mechanic, except it's a 3 shell magazine. A Blitz TH-camr (Martimator) calls that last shell, the "Cuck Shell" because it really shouldn't do anything except sit and watch.

Thanks for these videos skil. Your critique helps me not to get sucked into the hype of a new tank. If i went head to head with this tank in myTVP50/51 with some distance and cover, i could out trade him. I dont need another autoloader that costs a crazy amount of gold--thanks again!
Don't think I'm gonna drop my loot for this tank. I want the Gonsalo, Borrasque 1st before I even touch this tank and Tier 10 is nightmarish for me atm.

No. Last time 780 was cheaper but sold out in a couple of hours instead of days like planned
but but but its got teh attention deficit disorder loader.
At least its not some lets say BZ-666 or obj.666 with 350 all front armor and derp gun with 1200dmg and 280 pen. autoloader with rocket boosters. But to be honest I wont be surprised if they will sell this kind of tank in game.

Just a heads up for you: WarGaming has made slight adjustments to the National Blueprint values:
100% - 3 200 instead of 3 100
1% - 32 instead of 31
Full - 704 instead of 682
Pity WG has not adjusted the Gold cost from 50 up to 75k :) On the other hand, i"m still shocked that after being ammoracked, wg does not charge you for complete ammo resupply :p

Really only proves you are slow... QB is right... this tank is amazing... I missed out on it... and yeh Prog got nerfed... u must be crying...
That reload is actually amazing. You just always double tap the first 2 shots, or You track with the first wait for repair and retrack with the 2nd. So you get to double track and be right at max DPM.
I have more then enough resources banked for this tank and it looks pretty cool. Thing is I can't justify the cost for what you get. It's just a WGing resource drain for 1 single tank. I'll be passing on this one and see what else comes along in the next auctions.
I just witnessed a few days ago one of these being obliterated by our both artas. He was sent to Oblivion in like 2 seconds from full hp :))))

The real name of the tank its " Carro da Combattimento Leone" (Yes, CC Leone) and its in Italian "Combat car Lion" , but it was supposed to have an Italian Single shell 105mm gun compatible for NATO ammo, so we got another MBT on a WW1/WW2 tanks game :/
Fun fact, it was supposed to be called "Leopardino" (Little Leopard) lol
It's not been a "WWII tanks game" for years and years. Most higher-tier tanks are from (or inspired by) Cold War designs, with the exception of German tanks because of stupid.

The game hasn't been WW2 oriented for a long ass time dude, the inclusion of cold war tanks was absolutely necessary to fill the gap for high tiers. What I would like is the addition of more cold war era maps to reflect this.
There's really nothing bad about the inclusion of cold war vehicles (some of which existed irl) so long as WW2 era tanks remain effective in their given tiers. I would argue that some still definitely are, i.e. E series, T29, T20, IS-2, etc.
@@pirig-gal And yet German WW2 high tiers often dominate the replay channels. They may not have the same consistency as the sweaty-biased UDES or STB, but it's not uncommon that you see them racking up insane amounts of damage in the right scenarios.
I think it's good to have some top-tier variety in the game in the form of the E-100 and Jagdpanzer E100. Would it really be better to make them lower tier? And would there really be any suitable, historical replacements at tier 10 that don't implicate something far too modern like the Leopard 2? I don't think so.
Interesting tank. I think the combo of poor-ish gun handling and 4 second intra-clip keeps this thing from being a true monster. I actually think it is quite reasonably balanced (looking at limited gameplay, at least)... I would have liked to get a second opportunity to get the Obj 780, but meh.
Looks like a nice tank in skills hands. In mine ? I’ll save my bonds.
My strategy is to play tier 7, if we all did this we’d screw them and the money they wasted for a month after it comes out. Then the pay to win folks could just crap 💩 on each other.
BZ-176 will have a field day with all these Lion
although in the game on Westfiled, he had more bounces than i expected
BZ-176 will melt this tank, no armor=quick snack for BZ-176 but even in armored tank BZ just snaps at weakspot and boom -800. Because now after playing against BZ it rarely misses
Skill forgot to check but actually Lion has better turret than Leopard. Whole gun mantlet is 250mm+ so tier 8 and 9 will have problem to go through.
I don't really play a lot of WoT nowadays, maybe a couple hours a week. But I still watch at least one Skill vod every day.
even if i had enough resources i wouldn't spend them on a tier 10 tank.. tier 10 mm has degraded into an absolute unplayable hellhole at this point..
Hi Skill Please stop showing us tanks with 10 perk crews. Most of us don't have that kind of crew. When I see a video with such a crew, I don't want to watch it anymore because it's not a reference point for me. Please make a crew more realistic for casual players, for example max 4 or 5 perks. 50k bonds no thanks I’ll stick with Leo 1 thanks. And in tier 10 everybody fires gold so it has the same armour as the Leo.

they took the OF-40 and put it in WoT... basically a leopard whit turret armor and autoloader
This tank autoloader is made for intuition, you can change to normal to gold and have 3 shells in no time
I like the mechanic of spare shell (kinda high risk high reward) and how the vehicle looks. I got a lot of resources laying around so I'll buy it but I wouldn't recommend getting tons of gold just to get this tank.

WG might fix the reload issue becuase it's not a premium tank that gives extra xp/silver.
I mean the more shells in the mag, the longer the reload...makes no sense.
It seems to me like WG is still not sure how to balance auto-reloaders

leo has a insane gun handling so it actually hits its shots unlike this tank. dpm is useless if u dont hit

These assembly shop tanks had never any influence on the meta. Just think about the last one, the Obj. 780, who burned like a dry loo role. Did anyone have seen this "mighty" heavy on the battlefield in the last months? Not me. Just spare your resources, especially bonds, gold and credits and don't get fooled by a possible unique and shiny serial number.
Finally i can spend my collage tuition on pixel tank

First they put in a map (Redshire-Assault) which kinda no1 wants... Then they F-up the stuff with putting the defending team as a "constant meatball" for over a year...Finally they solve the problem with turning sides so now the attackers getting rekt like permanently... :D :D :D
The question nowadays is not some "should i re-start WOT or not?" but much more like "Why the F would any1 want to come back????" ...

Easy stuff. WG don't want you to hold the whole clip "just in case" but rather keep one for real emergency and utilize rest. TBH best solution. In other such italian autoloaders ppl maximize dpm by using only first shell and they still have 3 for emergency - that make them really dangerous to attack. In Lion they want you to have just one/two emergency shells if you want to maximize dpm. This makes italian style autoloaders less OP.

Got the Obj780 last time they did this; like it, but I've played 40-50 games in at most. And I had so many saved up resources, that I could buy it without spending any gold or bonds at all.
Not going to do it again, because I don't play tier X enough to justify it and the price WG is asking, is just stupid. I'd rather keep all the resources needed to unlock, say all the vehicles when we get the next new tank line - perhaps Japanese TDs later this year, who knows?
What autoloaders really need is a "single fire mode". Let's say, by pressing a button, you can lock in your clip to whichever shell is currently loading. So that if you hold your fire button, it doesn't fire the shell that was already loaded, but instead waits for the next one to be loaded. So that you don't lose DPM.
Would be a cool mod... Might try to make it myself
IMO, if you have the awareness to switch between single-shot and autoreloader mode, you're better off learning how to manage you shells. And if you don't - this mod is just going to get in your way. (Though it may make sense in the case of this tank, to keep you from wasting your spare shell)

I honestly do not see any reason i would ever want this tank or to ever play it for any kind of match. Much rather just play my leo 1n 6.9 sec reload .24 acc without needing improved aiming unit, much better shell velocities and 1.45 aim time, plus better hp/t and top speed....sry weegee but no thanks bring back the obj 780 now that i can afford it
WG: Let's ignore the current problems of the game and give them another premium tank to chew on.
the more players buys this tank for the incredible greedy price, the more expensive everything else will be in the future for everybody playing this game. Have some thresholds and do not buy it no matter what. I have 1 mil. free XP, but not going to waste them on it. WG is getting greedier and greedier with every new event.
BTW: tank is Italian, not German (although it looks like) and it would be better to compare it with Progetto or Carrot. End of the tank is raised, so your gun depression is affected when aiming rear/side.
I'd like to have it, but this price is not great, if I could use all of my blueprints it'd be good deal for me, but they limited blueprints so spending also 620k of free exp and 1100 gold is way too much in my opinion.
If the Wargaming instead did something with the fckin cheaters, 4 shot Emils, impenetrable kpzs 07, and aimbot clickers, it would be so much better than spending time to make this pointless vehicle.
Interesting tank. I could buy it, theoretically, but I'd have to nearly bankrupt my account , so no. On the reverse-auto-F-loader it's actually quite powerful. You have basically best of auto-reloader and reverse-auto-reloader. The intra clip is my biggest issue with that though. Not really for bursting. More for high temporary dpm... with +1 insurance.
Overall if this doesn't happen to be massively OP, which it might, looks like good credit sync. I don't think most WoT whales have the skill to play this, but it's still cool.
The fact that players running this will shoot pure gold, as Skill-almighty points out, is not nice though.
P.S> On the Italian MT line for some reason I love the Standard B and have very good success with it, but can't click with the Progetto 65 .. and this thing looks a lot like t10 Standard B + 1 shell insurance. Damn, now I'm tempted.

Its the say way on the 703-2 double Barrel you always keep your last round if you fire all of them theres a Penalty. same with this tank you keep three at all times if you need that Reserve fourth one you fire all........

This is not a premium tank its just another useless tier 10 dont buy dont buy, You can add this vehicle in comparison and check the overview it doesn't has more credits listed.
The long intra clip, fake accuracy, and paper armor in my opinion are this tanks biggest crutch. Don't think it's worth the resources at all

The ram in the first battle was buffed by your driver skill though, keep that in mind.

1:07 - according to wot site, it is 32 national bp / 1% progress, so a max. of 704! Also glad I've converted like 1.5mil free xp at the xmas event where it was 40free xp / 1 gold conversion rate.
Idk what to do, I have like 1.5 mil free exp which I dont need, but this tank is completely not my style
