@skill4ltu at #2:33 you say PTA has no armor but I find the turret to be quite trollish on people, not super reliable but can bounce a couple shots usually. Thanks for highlighting my favourite Sniper Shnitzel

still one of the most fun f2p tanks for me. i find it more fun than the Leo1 tbh. not for new players though. takes a bit of skill and thought to use. stop featuring it though, WG will see a huge spike in players using it and nerf it again :) good vid.
Perfect vid when i get the pta this weekend. I need only 90k ep to reach it i will enjoy the grind too leopard and then the unique Reiter skin will be deployed i am so happy to get the sniper schnitzel

Just unlocked the PTA last weekend. I am a kind of a mid-pack player unfortunately but it’s a fun tank. It’s amazing how good it can be in more capable hands. Maybe there is hope for me at some point… Lol.
they kinda nerfed aiming time for this tank, but tier 10 is a real deal
@@ivann4512 imo the tier 9 is better because the difference between tier 9 and 10 is not that big. Leo PT has a slightly worse Leo 1 gun. But considering that you have 270+mm of pen on the standard ammo with very good accuracy, you can melt tier 7 very fast.
speaking as an ex-US Army Cold War tanker who never plans to go above about teir VII, being a sniper-schitzel is what tankers DO, man... it's what SABOT was designed for...

I play this tank stock (only with the top gun) and it's by far the worsted tier 9 med tank i have ever played in the game.
It might be epic if you have it maxed out but if you just want to grind Leo this tank will be such a pain!!!!
Bad accuracy, bad dpm, slow af, no armore,....
I have almost 40 tier 10 tanks with a WTR of over 7500 but with this tank i have 10 games plaed and 0% winrate...
For me, the sweet spot of this tank is the snap shot. It is insane how accurate this tank is on the move. Super fun tank.
It's funny how you say that the gold rounds can penetrate anything on the battlefield. My gold rounds haven't hit anything they won't bounce off of.
unless you use it with a basic cannon against tier 10 :'( It's hard to progress this :'( I'm not the uniqum.

I'm glad you enjoyed farming my t95 well played and I played terribly but hey new tank not fully upgraded and a day that was one of my worst in tanks!
I'm also thinking about giving up tanks as unlike you and I there seems to be alot of people using aim bots and wargaming is doing nothing about it.

@@skill4ltu when they hit 3 shots in a row in exact same spot while your moving that's not rng, also look up 'Enemy Object 212 Aim Bot Arty' for an example of an on wotreplays.
I also know personally 1 player who has been using warpack for years.

I still, to this day, find it so strange that some MEDIUMS have better accuracy than TANK DESTROYERS. I understand it's an arcadey game, but idk. The game would make more sense and have more flavour if TD`s would actually be TD`s and meds idk...support tanks?
Why should they have more accurate guns? Because they are tank destroyers is not a valid answer

@@serban2139 Not necessarily. There are plenty of tank destroyers in this game whose armour or mobilty is on par or better than that of heavy tanks or mediums. Tanks aren't just rock-paper-scissor.
Not to mention that balancing tanks around accuracy always sucks (In the sense of giving non TD's worse accuracy). This luck factor is already a major issue of this game

E50 is actually better both in terms of dpm and accuracy (specially when both are played without stabilizer since pta soft stats are poop)
Every time i play with leo my team is melting. Very bad win rate for me. I manage to mark it with 2 stars but i am to angry with defeats
Worst destination to buy this tank again... I wish i would have never seen this video. Thats nowhere near how it plays in my garage

sadly i did not find any love for this tank or its T10 brother, the gun was behaving not in my liking. E50 is so much better and more fun to me

Am I the only one for whom this gun doesn't work at all? 6 perks crew, tried all configs from Index page, and it never fails to disappoint me... Pushed it to 2 marks but that was pre-'buff' times. After that buff it treats me horrible.
I think it plays like one of those low tier turetted US tank destroyers. No armor, good gun. But this is mobile as hell and the gun is awseome. But you will pay for mistakes. Don't think you are a medium and that you have armor cuz you dont

If you have a potato team (and you most likely will get potato teams) you can't do shit in this tank.
So far i got 3 wins out of 17 games in this tank.
Sadly you can't carry or being aggressive in this tank...
Thats the big problem, you have to rely on your team and we all know how this ends.

Last time i used the pta was before the buffs ......... it had no gun depression and the last match before getting the leo 1 i got ammo racked by arty ....... :(

This tank is what made me fall back in love with the game after a year or so of inactivity. Although believe it or not the gun handling used to be even better until WG nerfed the soft stats. Basically you used to be able to snap shot like a God but now you need to aim fully. Still epic tank and my first high tier tank I 3 marked!
nope....it depends on your rng! i have many trouble with this tank, cause of missing shots!

it doesnt matter if your gun is 0.28 or 0.35!
you can hit weakspot over 400m with every gun!

after 600+ games in my leopard 1 i have to say, theres nothing like it. I very rarely miss any shots and it definitely lives up to its 0.25 accuracy, definitely cannot relate to most comments.
The only thing even more accurate is my 103b
@@user-rj3qc2kx1iOnly thing I’ve noticed with my PTA is the gun needs to be fully aimed. Still, it slaps shit when it is. Especially with that shell speed. I was worried I wouldn’t be great in it only playing for 3 months after not playing since 2014. But I’m averaging 2200 dpg in it

I have exactly the same equip you have and have 2,19sec aiming time. How is that possible that you have only 1,74sec with same equipment? Without Chocolate it take even more ages to aim. WHY? WHY?
i've seen the same tank, with similar configuration and a 5 skill crew not to take the hit a 50 meter, gold disappeared in the thin air... and so on.
very good tank in the hand of good very player and streamer that take advantage from WG RNG. after 40 battle where i made max 1500 hitpoint a game i dimounted all the configuration and is gone back in the garage to take dust...

Take out that first game and replace it with another one like the second game, and you have my average performance in this tank. Apparently, I am playing it all wrong. I generally play a lot closer to the front. Ofc, I play on console, where camo rarely holds up at any range, but I will try playing more like a red line bushwanker and see how it goes.
isnt it kinda sad, that tanks like the leo, which actually hit even close to what you aim at, are very very good tanks
because it means, that most others are shotguns with some blackjack rng

My PTA isn't so accurate ... my aimcircle is hugh after moving - it needs ages to be small, and than I'm missing 20% of my shots (fully aimed) - Crew has 4/5 skills and I have the same equipment/field mods like you.
Skill uses reticle mod, which shows real values of reticle so if u are not using it your reticle is bigger,but accuracy should be the same

Skill! Please review the fv4202. Your previous reviews were a while back and i cant understand how you hate it so much. I love this tank and i am a nooooooob! It makes alot of credits, gun handles well, pen isnt bad with gold. Loads fast, fast tank for med, not bad cammo and spots like a lite. What is not to like.

It's one of the worst tier 8 premium tanks.
Bad dpm, low dps, rather expensive shells, not very fast, no armor. It's just bad.
