Only way to fix this gun, is to nerf Progetto 65 again. Nerfing that tank solves everything, at least that's what Wargaming thinks.

The Italian high tier TDs are all extremely strong but very RNG dependent for their guns. There will just be some games where you'll just miss pretty much every shot you take regardless of how good you are aiming. It is infuriating no doubt but it's a decent enough trade off for the armour and for those times the gun does work and you can just bully the crap out of heavy tanks with ease
Stock gun on the T9 is the most accurate 0-RNG gun, if not the gold spam and still low penetration i would have kept the stock gun.
@@Target850 agree. While out of tier 7-10 I'd say i didn't enjoy tier 9 the most, the stock gun is very accurate compared to the rest of the guns from its tier 7-10. I loved the accuracy. It's just that the pen and dmg is just not worth it to keep it. It's so bad. Really bad. I had to slowly crawl my way up to the top gun and holy, it's super derpy at times. You could still miss your fully aimed shot while the opponent is only around 50-100m away 💀, all it needs is just a bad rng and have fun missing your chance to get some dmg.

Is it ever not painful for last few years? op premium tanks kill tier 9 heavies in 20 seconds, and you can't even hit if you don't aim extremely well with 340 pen HEATs
The CC Mk.1 has a better gun, it was probably the best in the line. I hated the tier 8, the Tier 7 one is good imo.

On the other hand, MT 15 missions will be much easier since the tds won’t just be camping all game, there will be chances to do the mission throughout the game.

Ditching my vents for rotation mech really helped tame the dispersion on my Vipera it should do the same for mino
As an assault TD the gun handling is definitely 2/5. However in terms of overall flexibility this tank is unique. Both E3 and Badger become stationary to utilize their armor- the minotauro does not need to do so. Because of its semi traversable turret the minotauro can peak and shoot corners like a heavy while utilizing its E3 like armor.
If this tank had just slightly better gun handling it would be the best assault TD in the game by far, luckily it can barely hit anything past 50 meters.
due to the gun handling, you can't really play it like a super conquerer. on city maps, you can play like a heavy.
on open maps, you need to play like you're a T30 with better armour and ambush enemies, because the gun won't behave unless you've pre-aimed. somewhere halfway between a heavy and a TD.

italian tank concept according to wg:
tank destroyer: insane armour, bullet proof from all but the strongest of gold ammo. incredibly unreliable gun.
Heavy tank: shit armour laser accurate gun when fully aimed.
why not just switch the mino and rino, different platform just different gun stats? same for the lower tiers.
This tank hits only under 50m😂 So that's why i love my e4 and e3 more than this wonder...
Tier 7 and above Italian TDs are just bland and annoying to play because of their gun-handling. The only good and fun-to-play Italian TD is Bassotto at tier 6, in my opinion.

i like the mino, but you cannot play it as a sniper. it's a heavy with bad dispersion classified as a td.
As long as e3 armor stays the same I don't think mino is op. People have chief and 279 on their accounts and were stomping randoms for years...I think there should be some "poor mans counterpart" like this for casual players.

i start the line some time ago, i absolutely love the tier 8 cc, then i start play tier 9, but i realise how bad it was compered to 8, and then i see minotauro was even worst on the gun handling so i immediatly decide to sell everything and stop the line ad 30-40k xp from minotauro
I got the Vipera from Xmas boxes last year I quite like it, but it's true the gun sometimes lets me down enormously. But I've been grinding the line slowly over the last couple of months and boy, the T7 and T8 are DELIGHTFUL. So I'm quite curious about the T9 and Mino.
T9 is OP i got 65% wr, shredding thru the HT
its trash to play with in my opinion and its not nearly as dangerous as minotauro its easier to pen even at tier 7-8
You are right. The gun is truly dreadful. 2/5 max. But to be fair, it is the only thing making this tank remotely balanced.
I've been thinking a lot for the last 2 weeks whether to buy it but I think I'll give up it's not worth it better not to have armor but the rifle I want to be accurate
10 years ago i can only remember of 1 or 2 tanks that needed to spam gold to be competitive (E100, T-54?) now the game is, do you wanna have good games? use gold ammo like they are normal AP
But the game is not really balanced on gold penetrations
a truly appreciated thing would be for them to remove artillery and ban artillery players. and also nerf op premiums

I'm glad to see my beloved Baboon king struggle so much with Mino too. Not because I enjoy it, but because it means I'm not alone.
I "love" this tank, truly. I 2 marked it in less than 100 games... Then I tried going for the third... Got to 93% and then gun.exe uninstalled.
So now I'm close to 300 games and 83% on the marks.
This tank is such a shit show and your performance depend on how RNG is feeling that game. You may hit every shoot or bounce FV4005 side turret with HE at less than 50m... Yeah, that happened

I have Mino, its definitely nice compared to the rest of its tech tree , armour however is only good like t32, any side angle and you are made of paper , the gun is quite poor, if Badger had higher gun placement it would make Mino obsolete as it reloads quicker for the damage without needing a clip, Mino does poor trades because aim time is necessary
I would give the armour 3 and a half out of 5
E4 is way better as a turreted TD, Badger is way better as a dpm machine, E3 has way better armour
If you are playing in Badger and you see enemy Mino you dont need to ask their name
WG is encouraging people to get this tank cause it's not popular but after few months WG will nerf the tank cause it's 2 popular

Minotauro (or Minotardo as i call it) either gives you the best feeling in WoT or shoots up your blood pressure from the gun performance.
This gun sometimes is like an Iraqi soldier shooting an AK without aiming down the sights.
Truly infuriating but when it works, IT REALLY WORKS.
the game turns up my blood pressure in general how bad it is how pay to win it is and how rigged the mm is. all they had to do was create premanent pve mode to grind up tech tree in peace

OP tank.. i tried this shit, what will be extra nerfed.. Maus override me.. was to fast for my minotauro on turbo... its Badger with turret. Sometimes, very sometimes you will find good position.. if you have normal teams. In other cases its free frag.
When I have the occasional thought of returning to WoT. I am reminded of how much power creep is in the game, and how much hull down garbage, the game is poisoned with. Infact I wanna go back to the days where the worst we had was E-100 heavies spamming gold, e-25s running rampant and those little tier 6 British arties, perma tracking heavy vehicles. It's better than what WoT is dealing with now. This game is forever ruined.

But in first match you were shooting only lower plates, sides and backsides from close distance. How was gold required there? Maybe that one shot to obj907 in whole match.

I purchased this tank recently and oh boy I hate this gun... Sometimes you are even preaimed and not hitting a shit... this is terrible. Its not even the aiming, I believe also it has a more bad RNG, this is totally crap.
minotauro has the worst gun ive ever played with. I honestly think its so bad that you shouldnt waste your time grinding this tank.
Wouldn't call it op, the 8 sec intra clip and horrible gun handling prevents that.

Do the missions that you used the "skip books" on. Then skip the arty mission

I completed this mission using standard arty ammo on b-c 155 55 it is really comfortable arty to play and extremely versatile. Another well option id m53/55 i sometimes did 25% on it . Just keep learn to play artys. Btw, i like this kind of gameplay.

So we win on Berlin...i did ok...had to use gold as facing hulldown hts Like the Mino is...I loose over 100 000.....the new tanks introduced have raised the gold shell cost and mino gun does what it wants..how you tame a bull...So you play 15 games and lucky to win 10 of them...your down about 2 million creds if facing other hull downs.....Play the t11o3 Big Alpha easy penning for way less cost per game ....as AP 300 haha ..but spare credits mino can really hold its own.
Skill I watched you million times one question but honestly your opinion, I bet you will not answer honestly, why that gun work when Kajzoo playing hitting pixels not full aimed and every other tank he play but in reality it is not fukin possible???? Any thoughts honest thoughts??????
