could you get an orthodontics student or qualified orthodontist on your podcast too please. I'm currently grade 11 and I am interested in going into that career. I'd like to know the grade requirements for getting accepted and the salary range as well, etc. ❤
I stand to be corrected but I personally think that the system is flawed for those upgrading their marks. Most universities accept upgrading students and when applying some do allow you to select that you’re upgrading your marks. However, they don’t actually consider your application until after maybe you have actually sent the new set of results to someone responsible for admissions. Now my question is, why would you make it an option for me to state that I am upgrading but then don’t wait for my new results to make a decision?

Well I have heard one guy who said he called the admissions office and let them know that he had sent his upgraded results and asked for reconsideration, take note of the fact that even if you meet the requirements with the upgraded marks it does not guarantee admission.

@@zinhleez3197 they were not that good honestly. I just met the minimum requirements. my marks improved a lot in matric and I guess that is how I was accepted

Hey...... can I ask question can I transfer from Bachelor of Social Science to Bachelor of oral hygiene in University?
Hyy um currently upgrading n um afraid my results r gonna b lower than those that i got on my grd 12 final...so which marks are they gonna consider on my applications...my final grd 12 marks or the lower marks um predicting 😢😢😢
As far as I know once you upgrade and write the mark you had is cancelled and the new one is going to be used used

No they are actually going to take the highest marks from both your grade 12 marks and your "upgraded"marks

UCT doesn't offer Dental Science
But UWC, UP, Wits etc do dentistry

You do chemistry without physics, how?
I also did chemistry without physics.. here in Namibia those are two different subjects... But some people did both of them.. Biology, physics and chemistry... Your content is very interesting Dr Andy❤
For me I did chemistry, biology and agricultural sciences but not physics.. but it's very complicated now.. because most of the science courses physics is strictly required 😢
