Dr Andy I think second year is hard everywhere, literally do the same thing you did in your second year (each system we do the anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, anapath we also include microbiology),this is a new curriculum at SMU it is so hectic😭
Is it weird that I'm even more determined to get into med school I become very fascinated when the odds are against me even if it's one in a million chances I'm still gonna try to take those odds
I'm a 2nd year @ukzn medical school and it's going bananas already😥😂 but they told us it is only the first theme the toughest others are not that bad but now your intro scared the hell out of me😭😭

UP=UCT shame, everything is in weeks. I can’t believe I did a whole textbook of anatomy in just 8 weeks😭, microbiology was 6 weeks. I still have PTSD

It is strange that you didn't know you were going to work with cadavers when studying medicine.
It’s not. You just know about it because you were exposed to it, our backgrounds are different and where I come from this is not common knowledge.
