I agree; this new halo mamba is much more stable than the numbers indicate. I bought it for its flip, but bag it for stability. It is not what I expected, but I like it. Looking forward to throwing it into the wind to see what happens.
Halo mamba is my woods distance driver goes nice an straight with a touch of fade as it slows. Light hyzer it stands up and heavy hyzer it will hold the line ... Haven't experienced with anhyzer yet with it
Star Mamba is my go to driver-a thin rim and easy to throw. I suspect the Halo plastic probably negates some of the understability that defines a Mamba. Maybe this stability could work on winder days, but a low weight (currently bag a 135g) Star Mamba will always have a spot in my bag.
Mamba is my baby. I want a Halo one bad. You should try a standstill low hyzer flip 4hand 80% power. it's sick. Just glides basket height forever. My go-to disc off the tee. It's so easy to control which way it finishes with the power you use
To make it really glide on Annie you gotta throw high hard and release it late almost grip lock it. Then mine will pan on Annie I have 3. 2 stars 175 pop top one and a 170. 170 champion. Does your Halo one have some dome in the middle. I also noticed some new Halos in light weight
Lost my favorite champion mamba. 😭 Bought a esp hades and its not as consistent but holds turn better win no late stability. my mamba would always have a little finish

I feel a -5 turn would be an automatic roller outside of tailwind for me but maybe u should try a halo sidewinder instead ?
Nice review! I've been needing a driver for turnovers

Looks very similar to the stock Hades that I bag.

Not gonna be as flippy as you expect. Halo plastic is super stable
