just played here today in the wind and mist. it was not pleasant. my hands were pretty cold too, putting was pretty tough.

Wraith was my first driver and I play a lot of forehand, it is really good and quite consistent

You should try the Simon Lizotte challenge. You start at 10 feet from the basket, then after you make it you back up 10 feet.. and so on.. you do this for one hour and see how far back you can get.

for me it's all about speed control and throwing what you know. i use 12-14 speed drivers mostly, even on 200' holes. my bag is usually 8 discs or less. boss, destroyer, corvette, aviar, caiman, sidewinder

Would be kinda fun with a 9 hole battle. 1 midrange only vs 1 high speed driver only. Both discs played separately on all 9 holes from tee to C1. Would be interesting to see if the control of a midrange really would win against a high speed driver with far less control, yet more distance. E.g. Buzzz vs. Nuke SS

I just started 2 weeks ago and can barely make 200ft. I don't think I'm anywhere close to hitting 1000ft lmao Edit: Didn't realize 1000ft meant throwing 3 discs and adding them up. I thought you were throwing 1 1000ft lol

You could have smoked the challenge even more with and MVP Wave, Defy or Vanish instead of their Time Lapse. MVP/Axiom beats everyone else with their mids and putters, best in the business for sure. Also their Fission plastic makes some of their molds fly even better.

I think distance is more related to using less stable discs. The Hades and the Detour were the least stable of those two classes and went the farthest. As a really cheap experiment, you should try talking three of the cheapest Prodigy Ave Line Discs in Baseline plastic and retry after a few practice throws. For a total of about $15-$18, you should be able to get a D Model US, a M Model US, and a P Model US. I think you'll be surprised.
