I thought it would be a fake for that much but I compared the fake and legit versions in this video to the one I got and it's legit. It just has a scratch on the back panel which I can replace easily and pretty cheaply. I just saved like £400 and I couldn't be happier.
In fact, I actually searched for this video because I just got my Galaxy Note 8. I got it cheap and I wanted to be sure it was not a fake. I am glad it is not.
