I have one question we usually make the potatoe batter separately so if I make it like you did, as it seems very time saving and easy, how do I knead the dough cause I usually do it with oil and water? Because there are vegetables inside it. Also, potato is a starch. So, I was wondering, won't it break? Pls let me know. Also, I am glad your husband is also contributing, you already do so much. I see people say he is 'helping out' however, I disagree, taking care of his own kids and doing his own house chores isn't ' helping out' it's also his own house. I am very glad to see this south Asian mentality on its way out. They are both working couple. They are both contributing to chores of their own house. It's ok, you don't need to compare as your circumstances are not similar. You just keep trying to get the work done but don't stress as you will loose on the beautiful days with your kids and these days won't come back. Work will be there even when kids grow up!!! I am mom of 2 kids below 5 years 🙂
Sure, there are also a few things mentioned in the video which I follow too. Here is a list what I try to make things work for me 1. When it comes to quick cleaning or dusting I only part of a room in a day. For eg: TV unit side on a day and seating area on other. If I don't get to do a room a day this is what I do. Also because I have to finish the dusting before the maid comes for floor moping, so I have limited morning time in my hand. This way the house remains clean without stressing too much. 2. I am training my elder one to put back things where she takes it out from. She also helps me fold the baby's clothes many times. So involving kids in household chores. 3. Also I follow a rule that any task that requires less than a minute to finish should never be postponed. Eg: keeping a thing back at its place, putting used clothes for laundry or on the hanger, etc 4. Clean the kitchen countertops and gas stove daily twice, no matter what. Even if it's just with a wet cloth. 5. Doing the laundry daily, or any such work which may be a pain when piled up. don't let the work pile up. 6. Don't shy away from asking help from family whenever you need it. This is everybody's work not just your. 7. Always eat and drink water on time, helps us not to get irritated on petty things.
