Indeed. While you might think gravity is overrated, what it means when it goes out is that all your spare parts are banging around the interior of the truck, taking damage. So your losing big money every time something bangs into a wall. Eventually, ALL of your spare gear like extra batteries, circuits, filters and stuff will be broken. Then you have to buy a bunch, or your truck deteriorates until it is just another junk pile cluttering up the spaceways!
But in his defense, tutorial prompts is the worst kind of tool available to teach a player. And the sad thing they started off with a interactive one to patch the hull. Why don't they do that for the rest of the systems.

@@Jacob-gq7id I was a company driver and that was the amount paid to the truck and a range bracket not set. I'd be paid a percentage of that amount. The guy commenting after you is accurate though in that most of it went to truck expenditures that the company covered.

@kaidigo2210 As you might be able to tell, I was a professional driver for 16 years. Rookies in some sectors get so little training, it's a surprise some of them live through their first year. That being said, it's hard enough to back a trailer in 2 dimensions. If I can at all help it, I certainly don't do it it 3. Those three dimensions give you escape routes. Don't be afraid to plan ahead and use those instead of tediously adjusting a trailer for half an hour. Unless that's your jam, then you do you. I've donenit enough in real life that if its possible to pull through, I will. Also, remember, it's no where near as easy as it looks. Us vets have just learned how to correct our mistakes and make it look like we meant to so it that way.
There _were_ spare power cells in the cabin, but they were no good after pinballing around in zero gravity for several in-game hours between the point when his compensator shut off and the point when he fixed it.
I love this game and the reason there is gravity is so that your power cells and junk don't break and if you put everything on the shelf flip the stairs to where you would access all the battery's for the gravity and then deactivate it and float out the top the stuff cant get out until you want it to. and also deactivate your suit charger when the suit is full bc there is no power drain overtime😉

First thing I did was ignore the space lanes and get shredded by debris, needed a dozen patches port side hill integrity was at 0 the paint was completely ruined, the shutters were jammed, and my suit chargers ended up taking one of my starting batteries. Good ass game
Actually the jammed shutters is apart of Sour Candy's storyline, she fixes it so you can go into the solar colonies without having to worry about getting fried like an sidewalk egg in Arizona
Yeah, off-roading is always an option, but without heavy use of your "mirrors" and/or third-person camera, it's typically safer and steadier to stick to the roads.
Being a truck drivier, and loving the idea of space, this actually has my interest. Normally i just watch for entertainment but this might actually be somwthing i get. Even tho that ant game you demoed not to long ago was pretty cool too.

AFAIR there should've been some spare batteries in the truck. Also, when dealing with oxygen, you could've used the suit probably not to suffocate! :D

the shops sell containers so none of the stuff inside takes damage.
I always go right up to it and then flip around and use the docking camera to park in star trucker.

You only need to turn off systems from the breaker when replacing UCCs since Maglock and Suit Charger won't use power until they're needed.
