The Rat King from Tlou 2 was the most scariest and disgusting boss in gaming history imo. Strange why people don't talk about that. It also looks very realistic too.
@@CandiceVidito32 Some bosses really gave me the chills there. I also couldn't believe that there were also NES games (which I played when I was a lot younger) that can raise fear factors to players. 😨
Normally Resident Evil doesn't scare me, but that baby was by far the most scariest to encounter and that made me to too scared to play the game for another round. XD
There were a lot of improvements made in the Silent Hill remake, but none were as much of an improvement than Abstract Daddy. In the original, he looked more like a warped kitchen table. Now he is detailed enough that his crime is on full display while he hunts you down a much improved boss area. He tears everything apart while hunting you, I guess since you got in the way of him and his daughter. He is a hell of a lot more imposing and threatening. Though, ironically, he is actually a pretty easy boss. His attacks are easy to dodge and then you can just melee him to death. When someone fights back, he easily falls... just like Angela's real daddy.
Darling! That Eddie from Outlast dlc .He better be on here. He cut the privets off like a hundreds guys because he was trying to make a perfect wife. You want to scare a man. Say Darling! In pitch darkness.
Special “honorable” mention for “The Guardian” from “The Evil Within 2”. The multiple heads and limbs. The guttural noises. The unsettling laughing. The fact that it can’t be killed. That shit was freaky af.

I love that the first 6 entires were just Resident Evil and Silent Hill. Heck yeah. And managed to get 3 more Resident Evil and 1 more Silent Hill entries by the end. Honestly I assumed you wanted to make the video because of Silent Hill 2 Remake. The game does its job well. I’m a little surprised by the Rat King in TLOU2 making the list. TLOU not a horror series but the video is not titled HORROR video games so I’ll accept it.
In the original Resident Evil 4 Osmond Saddler was not the scariest boss. I'd give that title to what I think was called the U2, you know? The one you fought inside the cages? And then eventually head on as it dug Underground and you had to avoid its tail attacks.
Sander Cohen was scarier than Steinman IMO. They both literally used people as their art, but Cohen had something more menacing to him. Also it's Steinman not Steinmen.

Ain’t going to lie the fetus baby of resident evil 8 had me when I first played it. If I had a heart monitor on when I first played it. Would have gone crazy but. The vr version was worse. I had played the game a lot before the vr dlc of the game came out for it but when it did I remember breaking out in a full body sweat and my headset fogged up in that part. That has never happened to me before
Yes 2021 belongs to Resident Evil Village big bad boss mother Miranda. She tried to steal Ethan Winters baby, After she lost her child from the Spanish Flu decades back. Also, The four lords are the most badass members she’s ever created.
lmao, putting resident evil 4 but who ? Osmund saddler 😂 I bet his human version (separate ways) is miles more scarier than one in Leon's storyline also it should've been either verdugo or U-III, even the mega salvador from the water world mercenaries is more scarier than the final boss 😭😭😭😭

I'm not normally freaked out by video games, but the fetus boss in RE scared the shit out of me.

Resident Evil gets scarier every recent year. The Baby may be at its peak yet. 😨

The baby sounds still haunt me down. It was pretty pretty hard to face him. That's beyond scary.
For me 2009's most scary bosses were all in Resident Evil 5
The Boulder was pretty scary imo
@hermeskino711 😂 the first boss the executioner and the chainsaw guy were the most scary for me
This is why video games are the best medium, they can get away with creatively scary things like this
Crazy how TN-1 Bane from BATMAN: ARKHAM ORIGINS isn't on the list. My heart was pounding during that fight.
On god that part of origins still does haunt me to this day. I played it new back in the day when I was 11
