- Hello and welcome back to Train Sim World 3!
In today's video we're going to be taking a trip on the Class 387, on a non-stop service from London Victoria right the way through to Gatwick Airport. The journey time today is approximately 30 minutes in length, however due to some seriously skilled driving we do get there a little early.
This has to be one of my favourite routes for Train Sim World, simply due to the volume of traffic you see hurtling up and down. It's really nice to be able to drive the route with the added features from TSW3.

I really want them to add the south western main line
Me too
Same
Waterloo- Poole would be nice
@@uwudaddyilymarrybcimgayyeah that would be sick
You think JUST like me in regards to route preference to the olden days or modern, and also London commuter is my favourite dlc too and definitely most played
I know the BML to vicky in and out like the back of my hand
On any MU there are dials for the headlights/taillights or a combined dial usually on the left, and in the electrostars and networkers its a dial on the upper leftcabside and on the networker two dials ⅔ up also on the left cabside
Balham 70: throttle up at the gantry before the junctions
Selhurst 60:B1 from thornton heath
Selhurst 70: anyway you cut it, at the plattform end
Balham 60: B1 though the last(left-turning)stranthenam-> balham curve
Literally got to gatwick at the same time as you somehow not sure how i caught up lol but got one most stop to four bridges 😉
So funny this should pop as i just hopped on to do a gatwick service, but instead im doing a Southampton/bogner service haha
That's good service may I add 😀
11:41 Tbf I think that is pretty realistic
I wish you can stop to all stations will be very nice
Can someone pls answer this question because I've got the London to Brighton route on tsw3 and I've also got the southeastern high-speed route aswel but when I go to London Victoria in tsw3 and do some train spotting I can't even find the 465's
I need to know why it does that aswell
It’s because the speed sets aren’t used on the 377/375 so no point adding them in the newer trains
Not me horning my horn so high to scare people to close
When the next video of your new bud she looks in really good nick and probably won’t need much work
On tsw3 the my back doors on class 377 doesn’t close why ?
you dont have to slow for double yellows its just a warning that the next is a yellow. It goes double yellow, single yellow, red. Take note of double yellows but slow for singles
There are plenty of situations where you need to slow for double yellows. Not all signals are placed far enough apart that you can safely stop from a single yellow before the next signal. And if you're following another train on double yellows, it can make sense to slow down a bit and drop back to the crossover point where double yellows clear to green as you approach, because if you get too close and go through a single yellow you'll have to slow down and be ready to stop by the next signal which will lose a lot of time.
@@blueb0gIf the signal spacing isn’t sufficient to safely stop from a single yellow, then whats the point of it of the signalling system? Of course you can safely stop from a single yellow. Worst case scenario you’d SPAD and come to a stop in the overlap.
@@brandonpayne9184 That's why it's quad aspect... On your argument, what's the point of a double yellow then? Real train drivers, practicing defensive driving, will regularly slow down for double yellows, especially if - depending on their route knowledge - there are closely-spaced signals ahead. There are absolutely signals on the UK network - quite a few - that if you go through at linespeed at single yellow, you will SPAD. That's precisely *why* we have double yellows.
Quick question also joe, can i get all my tsw2 stuff onto tsw3 like this route?
I’m not joe, but I believe you can - it worked for me
Yeah any of your TSW2 DLC will port over to your TSW3 save 😄

Unfortunately there's no route available that will let you drive from Dartford to London. Maybe in the future! :D
@@JoeDobsongaming ah shame hopefully in the future
I have the sim world 2 version, what is the difference?
Big difference
Why can’t we do the whole route tho
I was driving the train that does like up to 300mph a few hours ago based in Germany in game
It travels up to 300kmh not mph, 300kmh is about 186mph
I haf the games
