I see you walking around the boat barefooted have you ever got the top of your feet sunburn one of the worst times I've ever had fishing and that happened to me🤣
As a native, doing exactly this is one of my favorite things to do. Favorite food: anything I just caught. Snapper, grouper, pompano or snook if you're lucky
I was using a 50lb FC leader today pier fishing in St Petersburg for snook but ended up catching tons of snapper lol only 2 keepers plus a bonus 18" drum! Great videos bro just started watching them a few days ago when they first started showing up.
Hey Dude, always like your videos and your great info. I don't have nor know how to use a cast net, so can you give me another suggestion on what to use for chum please. I love snapper fishing but not much luck fishing the Indian River on east coast. Thanks, Steve
I wanted to jump into this vid...although I'm up in Maryland. Those were some awesome catches and I would have kept ALL of the legally- sized catches as my fridge is 'DEVOID' of any recently-caught Gulf Coast (Florida) fish!! My last trip down earlier this month was a disappointment. I'll be back down in November...maybe I'll have better luck! #NumberOneFan
Maybe ask a local bait shop when you get there. Areas are usually different. I know a pompano jig works pretty good. A silver or gold spoon, or a Yozuri 3rd prism lure
I live here in Crestview FL and fish Choctawhatchee bay around Eglin AFB. Would these same techniques work for our area here in NW Florida? Thanks again
Hey Im looking to do some kayak fishing in Tampa this august and I haven’t a clue what to target. Any tips? Not even looking for a spot. I just dont know about species or environment
I am fixing to buy a Slammer iv for inshore mangrove/trout/redfish/l.m. bass, should I get a 2500 or 3500? I already have a 4500 but it feels too big. I was leaning toward the 2500
Wasting bait? It’s not wasted if it catches fish, also greenbacks throw a cast net off most bridges piers beaches they’re there. They’re like roaches of the sea
Hey man love your content. But could you do more kayak videos? Your video style is awesome and makes the videos better
I like the "See ya dude" as he releases them. I do the same, but say "Thanks for playing"... 😂
Definitely a fun fish to catch 🎣🎣good job Brent keep up the good work🤙

You are no more native to this land than any European.
Enjoy your channel, will try it this Friday
Excellent video,
I usually fish for Sheepshead around the bridge, I never thought about Mangrove Snapper in those locations.
🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Awesome stuff dude
Thanks!
Enjoyed your video, thanks for posting 👍🏿
That’s soo awesome! I won’t even catch that many fish in 6 month!!!!! Good stuff man
The tide is moving but the boat is not. Spot Lock is KING!
Cool video! You always find a way to get on em🎣
Nice job bro 👍🏾

Try using a lighter leader especially In clearer water. I like 30lb, but that’s just my input. Good luck and tight lines
Yeah in dania they catch 25 inch muttons with w 20 lb leader
Okay I finally got it..”See ya Dude.” 😁👍
FIshing is so relaxing even just watching someone do it.
Awesome

I fish this bridge whenever I get a chance! Used to love it in my Jetski. Cause some nice Cobia there
What bridge?
I really like the video of fishing techniques that are very simple and easy but still get fish.
We literally did this today in Sanibel
How'd you guys do?
What pole is he using please tell me
even with a license i get kicked out from bridges from shore , cool video man.
Why? Tell them to fuck off
Just caught my first one at 13 or 14 inches with a minnow lure on the jetty’s
My kind of fishing.
what do u recommend for snappers besides live bait. Lure/artificial ?
Any live small bait. Shrimp, cut bait like ballyhoo or lady fish
@@SWFL_FISHING_239 thanks. But I need lures or artificial. I'm going to Aruba and I am not sure if u can catch small bait to catch large fish...
Maybe ask a local bait shop when you get there. Areas are usually different. I know a pompano jig works pretty good. A silver or gold spoon, or a Yozuri 3rd prism lure
@@SWFL_FISHING_239 sweet, thanks. ill look into those baits

They should work just fine there as well.
Hey Im looking to do some kayak fishing in Tampa this august and I haven’t a clue what to target. Any tips? Not even looking for a spot. I just dont know about species or environment
Wheedon Island preserve in st Pete is a nice spot for kayaks, can be lots of snook and sheepshead on the higher tides

Ever heard the saying “never undertruck, always overtruck”?
Cool but on board a vessel, must possess and use:
Non-stainless steel, non-offset circle hooks when fishing with natural bait.
I live in St. Petersburg….what bridge are you fishing?
What reel is that? Battle 3?
I wish i can catch like that
How many inches is your liter?
You must be a fish whisperer with how fast they hook up
Did not know there was a difference between what you can keep if it's in shore
At what time was this?
This bridge wouldn't have to be the skyway bridge would it?
no
Where you located at? Lol
I lov 2 put a strip of squid on my jig..sheep's head lov it
Same bridge for tarpon is the same for snapper
First
Last
Nope, now I’m last
Wasting bait is crazy lol
Wasting bait? It’s not wasted if it catches fish, also greenbacks throw a cast net off most bridges piers beaches they’re there. They’re like roaches of the sea
Where is the bridge??
