Sir it is a formal interview. Only difference is the journalist is backed by facts while the actor isn't. The latter is supported on an emotional spinal cord... not facts. Openness does not necessarily mean the actor is cent percent correct in everything.
Actor: You need to 'prove' worth as a actor to be brought up by people.
Journ. : Why do good actors from India with "international acclaim" never become famous in India ? Is it their looks or birth ? While family people often get huge hits and don't take much time ?

This host is a damn embarrassment. Rishi sir made some valid statements. There's nothing wrong with hoping for peace on the border and living in harmony. He misses his elders and values their history& therefore wants to visit Pakistan. Excellent Interview by Arnab...I have never enjoyed Arnab's show upto this extent ever before....He totally nailed the show...I admire Rishi Kapoor for his straight forward nature...But after listening to Arnab's arguments, i realised that Rishi's straigh forwardness changes from situation to situation.. Rishi Kapoor ji's stance is not on good footing with nationalism or love for his countrymen and women. It is just open, that PR is what current Indian film industry is after.
Acting was a skilled art in ancient times. Now it has but become a twisted and convoluted form of it's modern self. My parents still recount how they went to local drama theatres to watch live "Hari kaatha" and "Chakyar Kuthu" famous in Kerala - in Mumbai and in Kerala. These dramas of course not comparing, stressed on importance of humanity and showed the greatness of humans.
Films in modern context are the 360 degree opposite I would say, made to mint money by feasting off people's base emotions. Truth to be told in the many bollywood, kolly, molly etc. wood films: culture and traditional films are a rarity. Atleast even millenial children cannot identify with the culture shown in bollywood films. Mostly western influenced and creates a sense of admiration only for the actor and not the character portrayed.
Drama was originally invented in Bharat to convey good emotions, advice for betterment and well - being of public. Not the other way.
If you patronize arnob you should watch circus or dogs fighting on the net, this is not journalism , not even entertainment , very disturbing nonsensical deliberate ill mannered behaviour.
