"Something Isn't Quite Right"?. This is quite impressive, I would say. Remarkable job. Also, thanks for sharing all that info. You just got a new subscriber.
As far as I’m aware, you could always save projects in the trial version. It just prevented you from opening them again. However now that I’ve bought the full version, it’s not a problem anymore. Check out my latest upload, I’ve been messing with it for a few weeks now :)
Hi there! First, thank you very much for the comment, I appreciate it! Secondly, the drum samples are actually mainly from the default packs that come with the FL Studio trial. You can find most of the 808 and 909 samples from the legacy drum folder in the browser. Hope that helps!
Oh, just another note: FPC has a great library of samples from the 707, 808 and 909 drum machines. It’s a really nice sampling plug-in which has all of the samples in one program and has tons of premade loops that you can load from it. It’s like your classic drum machine…
Thank you for the tips! Yeah, there are a few things I’ve noticed after coming back to this. I’m also not completely happy with the pluck lead, feel that could be dulled. I had another comment criticizing my kicks and I agree, I could have eq-d it up a notch but what I tend to do is add sidechain compression to all my instrument tracks to bring it out more as the master limiter tries to bring it down again. Lots of finicky things to work on!
I use no presets in my songs. I personally find them a lazy form of making music because it’s using someone else’s work. A lot of the enjoyment I get from producing music like this is starting fresh with a pure sinusoidal waveform and being able to engineer this by ear until I get the close-to-perfect sound of each synth used in the original. This is what I have done with each pattern (I separate these out in the beginning to show each component). Using a preset designed by someone else is not always going to give you the right sound, especially when you’re aim is to imitate another song. All of this is my own work. Sorry!
@@IcarusMakesMusic No bro, i mean like the sounds, like what vsts did u use for synths and bass the melody of the track? Also i can give u the link to download the producer + signature bundle ;)
@@808micks Ahh ok, I figured by presets you meant the…presets of the synths, not the actual synths themselves. My bad lol 😅 So I was majorly using a VST program called “Sytrus” here, it’s a very versatile synth that aims to emulate the kind of sound you get from a classic analog synthesizer with FM and AM capabilities and some really nice wave-shaping capabilities (I was experimenting with my own FM synthesis in some parts here, the pluck namely, albeit at a very basic level). I’ve been using it quite a lot recently and found it’s great for everything really. I figured this would be an ideal platform for the kind of sound I was going after considering DP used those old Roland analog synths and drum machines in the original. Also “3xOsc” which is an OG VST but I only really use it as a white-noise producer for making builders and Lo-Fi static effects/artificial degradation. Hope this answers your question! 😄 P.S. Someone else has kindly offered me a free copy of the producer/studio edition of this software but I’d rather use the free version instead of risking it downloading a dodgy cracked app. Plus, it’s unethical. I’m really loving FL Studio, I’ve been a user for 8+ years and I feel I’d be doing wrong by Image-Line if I stole their software. I would love raise some money to afford it if I ever grow enough in the future. But thank you for offering :)
@@IcarusMakesMusic it's not really a crack bro, it's like downloading and installing the trial version and there's the patch u install so it becomes the producer + signature bundle, but you got it so it's cool
If you don’t wish to listen to all the individual patterns that make up the song, skip to 4:11 !

Thank you so much!
Well done 👍👍👍🙏
Appreciate it!

Thank you! 🙏
Bro, the 2020 free FL was savage. At least now you can save the files in a trial version

Good job
Thank you!

I verry like it
More base (reverb) on your kicks and claps is what you need
Play around with reverb2 and you get it
*ADD REVERB ONLY TO THE CLAPS AND KICKS*

dude this is cool but how did u get the bass line for it cant find it inside of sytrus
Your synths are on spot, just chance your drums, and mix your bass
Amazing job, the kick is maybe to light?
Perhaps 🤔 maybe add some sidechain and bass it up a bit
What bass did you use, specifically? I'm having a hard time trying to pinpoint the exact file.
Hi there! I didn’t use any presets in this project. Every track was set up from scratch :) hope this provides an answer
What's all the presets u used bro?

Bro do you need FL lol? I can get it for you, you shouldn’t put all that talent to waste.
I’m ok with the free version thank you. I’d rather own a legitimate copy than a dodgy crack...
