I highly recommend not visiting this place. They exploit wildlife life for sightseeing only and invest less than minimum effort to help animals injured by humans. For example they will only remove a snare occasionally for photo op show how they are helping but will not not do any follow up. For example example they removed a snare from lioness but knowing she had five 1.7 months old cubs, did not bother or care ro advocate with adjacent properties and Sabi Sands authorities to release the lioness near her 5 dependent who were then filmed weekly in adjacent properties starving, loosing condition, eating snicks and filming mother looking for them and contact calling for 3 subsequent weeks. Very egregious
Also watch WildEARTH, sunset Nov 25 2023, supporting Chitwa Chitwa rangers and Sabi Sabi authorities again and their past mubo jumbo talk - when sole remaining Talamati breakaways lioness was snared in Myneleti and snare removed in Chitwa Chitwa- in oct 23 2023- everyone was not only questioning why this happens only to this pride but why they would not release this lioness close to her 5 kids who were starving for 3 weeks while mom, them, and s8 were looking for eachother. all said she was ok, now a whole month later she is on WE bleeding from both corners of her mouth - that is just how incompetent job they did and it is not just here but happening to lions all over private and national reserves. They do not reinvest more then bare minimum to conservation. It is just about showing tourists big 5 and filling up lodges.
