@@emir6110 Hi. "Better" is rather subjective. If we are talking technical performance, I don't feel there is a lot of difference. Both the 27mm (GR) and 35mm (Fuji) (full frame equivalent) lenses are really excellent. Love them =both for different reasons. I own a Fuji X100V and a Ricoh GRIII. My favourite cams. I value the Fuji film simulations as much as I do the Ricoh ones. The Fuji ones are very tasteful, the Ricoh ones are more In Your Face. But positive film (these reds) and high contrast black and white on the Ricoh are just great. In this regard Ricoh is as good and important as Fuji.
You're a great photographer and, might I say, the sexiest man alive. A cross between a young Elvis and Ryan Gosling. Just sayin'. Setting up those color profiles look antiquated and watching all the damn buttons you had to press gave me a headache. That's O.K., but do you think Ricoh will have a GX lV someday?
Такое чувство, что видео и фото сняты на телефон 2010 года выпуска. Ни деталей, ни цвета, ни динамического диапазона - вообще ничего нет, что выдавало бы камеру за $1000
IMO, these are all merely FILTERS, albeit being given more sophisticated names. Of course, there are filters that aesthetically produce the trendy type of colours and looks advertised by social media and hence, lusted after by enthusiasts who’re very busy within photography social media. Fujifilm cleverly exploits its users by making them enthuse, advertise and create continued hot news and hot debates over Fujifilm’s filters called “Film Simulations”. I have been using Fujifilm and GR3 since 4yrs ago. The above is the USP of Fujifillm. Ricoh cleverly plays a different game. Instead of enthusing about filters (exclusively done by Fujifilm), Ricoh exploits its Key Opinion Leaders, many of whom are unemployed, to enthuse, promote and talk about street photography, fun & compact size, snap focus etc. In the end, they are all merely FILTERS. I would like you to try 2 apps: FILMROLL ProCCD Imo, they are wonderful and convenient in capturing the analogue film look. Based on your pics taken in Albania, im very sure the 2 apps will give you stunningly lovely results in Albania. Currently, im hooked onto both apps and loving them to bits🤩🤩
Hey JK Low! Thanks for the input. Yes, I agree, the "film simulations" are essentially glorified filters. I'm excited to try out those apps you mentioned. I've not heard of them. I'm going to download them today.
Trash talks about fuji and ricoh film simulations being 'merely filters' while in the end promoting apps that add analogue film filters to photos... the irony is not lost.
Learn to have an open mind, to explore all avenues with no biasness. Fujifilm and Ricoh are good stuff, but they are not everything. Its just that both brands have been cleverly advertised on English-based American social media. If you explore other non-English based photography sites (which Im sure you dont) the situation is very different. So, most English-based photography enthusiasts are confined within their own English-based playground where the “star” is often the X100V, GR3, newer Sony stuff etc, where M4/3 are bad-mouthed etc. Its the same old game.
I have a Ricoh GRIII and I legit had no idea you could add film sims like this!!

Amazingly small but i prefer a7c for street
I haven’t tried the a7c yet... it definitely beats the GR III in the autofocus department
Hi I'm trying to decide between the GR iii and GR iii x. I think I want to go with the wider lens which is the GR iii. Is there anything else I might be missing out on?
Also, this is a great video. Great to know those simulations can also be done on the Ricoh.
The only difference is the focal length
Did you get the 3 or 3x? You happy with it?
I own a Fuji X100V and a Ricoh GRIII. My favourite cams. I value the Fuji film simulations as much as I do the Ricoh ones. The Fuji ones are very tasteful, the Ricoh ones are more In Your Face. But positive film (these reds) and high contrast black and white on the Ricoh are just great. In this regard Ricoh is as good and important as Fuji.
7:19 hah, that's the best photo
Thank
“It's kinda cool and kinda creepy” 😂😂
You're a great photographer and, might I say, the sexiest man alive. A cross between a young Elvis and Ryan Gosling. Just sayin'. Setting up those color profiles look antiquated and watching all the damn buttons you had to press gave me a headache. That's O.K., but do you think Ricoh will have a GX lV someday?
My camera should arrive this week. Can’t wait to go from a regular dude who takes pictures to be a douche who shoots 😂
You set your white balance wrong, it’s the opposite of what you did.
No he never it was done correctly
Not bad at all but quite different from fuji
Without an EVF, Fujifilm will always be the winner😊
Такое чувство, что видео и фото сняты на телефон 2010 года выпуска. Ни деталей, ни цвета, ни динамического диапазона - вообще ничего нет, что выдавало бы камеру за $1000
Lots of babbling on. Why can’t you guys be like the Brits and Europeans; just get on with it.
🦅'merica
Europeans talk a lot of crap and act like experts on everything. 😂
Because the camera doesn’t look vintage
Bro stop talking so much and get to the point
boo hoo hoo...
I would like you to try 2 apps:
FILMROLL
ProCCD
Imo, they are wonderful and convenient in capturing the analogue film look.
@@SIQmai
They are filters.
If not, what are they?
@@macallanvintage apparently it got lost on you. It's ok, it's really not that important.
