Any day in the woods hunting is the best day
That's it.
The best days to kill a buck are the days with a cold front throughout the hunting season. Good pre-rut days in the mornings in SW WI are Oct 20-30. Other good days in SW WI for all-day sits are October 31-November 6. After the 7th bucks get locked up with does. The 30th of November until December 6th is good for the second rut. Late December can be good on really cold days near food.
I'm in the driftless area. Got a buck opening day. Won't hunt again until Halloween weekend to fill my Doe tags then gun season.
not sure where youre talking about but more deer are killed in ohio on the week through nov 7th to 13th
Three for Three so far on your predictions… Freezer Full. Will now work on my neighbors freezers. Thank You !!!
Today, 11-2-24 the bucks in my area in Southwest Mo. started chasing pretty good, saw 8 smaller bucks and all were chasing and grunting.
It is 10/19 and I am 2/2 on your predictions… Great Job !!!
Looking forward to the next 3 dates !!!
Northeast Ohio, end of Oct, they are out n about
1st week of Nov, 4-5 days after daylight savings ends( Best be in your spot) time frames for the Big guys? Here, I’d say, from 10:30am till 12:00 noon. Down wind side of Does bedding areas,if possible/ Bucks will cruise just outside or parrell of such areas
30 yrs Experience, blessed season this year,, 5 yrs in a Row, same tree, same time frame, 5 Deer
Rut on? All plans are off the Board, they are all over, at any time,day- night
Best~Regards to all after their Bucks
Seems like any time that you can get out.... between late October to early December. (The entire month of November!)
Honestly these hunting videos are a lot more plentiful resource for us photographers too, compared to photography channels.
The hardest part of wildlife photography is... Well, finding wildlife, and I find that hunters (be they local or on the internet) know a lot more about wildlife than the average photographer.
In western NY my best days seem to be nov 7 through nov14. Have not killed a mature buck with a bow outside that time frame. I dont play the moon phases other than the first 2 days after the full moon i dont see anything. Good luck out there.
Pretty simple here in WI. Between October 25th and November 15th, hunt whenever the hell you can.
Same in east Texas.
I like Halloween- Nov15. Here in Oklahoma.
@benbearkiller Agreed, I don't get excited until Halloween, it's like every year around Halloween the big bucks start moving. They really move with cold fronts because it can still be hot Halloween here in Oklahoma. The best time is the week before rifle. I hunt it every year and lots of bucks looking and chasing!!
@@SuperDave-pe1zw agreed. And we always get a cold front around Halloween
The best day is today....
Halloween! Best day of them all 🏹
I'd like to let newer hunters understand that the statement at the 2 min. Mark is not always accurate. Theres NOT more bucks on the landscape at season bow opener on many properties as the bucks haven't shifted to their fall range yet. You may very well see many bucks but probably not ones you'd want to target. This isn't ALL properties, but it reflects what many of us find early season on property we have spent decades building for fall habitat. Many great points in this video and the number 1 thing is to hunt the right days with wind and temps and just enjoy being outdoors in creation!
Any time any day rather your hunting or not lol I prefer early bow season also late season after gun season is over
Here in Ok we’re around 1wk behind what your timeline is give or take a couple days. Thankyou
I was thinking the same thing! 1st or 2nd good cold front where it is going to be cold for a week or so, if you can hit the beginning of that then you will be golden. Last year in Eastern Oklahoma the second cold front that hit at the end of Oct was the best I have ever seen it! Shot my big buck on the 31st of Oct. but saw bucks every afternoon for a week straight, then it warmed up.
My rut here in Mississippi is during late December to mid-late January its very late here
Same here but in southern Alabama even will go into feb
How does one go about getting a job at realtree 🧐💪🏻🙏🏻
Sorry come oct 1 in great lakes area soy beans are not green and the deer have left them .Green plots and corn . LOL at mid Oct "early Rut " especially going in the morning .I would sleep in hunt the evening food if its right weather and get ready for the last few days of Oct and first week of Nov.So to break it down industry guys say hunt all season but it might get slow . LOL
You must be down state. Or close to farms. Don't have that soybean stuff around here. Corn, for sure. But I'll take late October to first week of November as the best. Full rut, It's a different beast.
I don't think Michigan gets it's proper respect, for the size of our bucks. Noticed much more bigger boys, then 15, 20 years ago. Antler restriction has definitely helped that. Especially in the northern areas. But downstate farmland area, has always had brutes. Anyways, my two cents, Good luck to you😊
What ever happen to the last week of October always saw gd movement then
So hunt the same time of year we hunted every year.
Doe are not bred in October at all! Most of my success with mature bucks has occurred between Oct 26- Nov 5 N.W Illinois
Same here in SW Wisconsin. Right before those does come into estrus is a crazy time to catch the bucks moving around here
They definitely breed here in Northeast Ohio in Oct
I killed my buck on October 17th
This video is great information for the novice, first time hunter. Unfortunately for me, I’ve been hearing this same recycled information for the past 50 years.
Tough to relate to my tiny state In the northeast! No big crop fields or fields in general , all hardwoods most always last week October, activity almost stops first week of November, then second week really open up
The northeast is so tough people don’t understand. In central/northern NH I’ve seen the most mature bucks cruising November 20-25 and killed a 7 year old on Dec 9 at 4 pm
There's no such thing as a moon phase
Lost me at moon. Moon don't make a difference
