On the second to last day of the season, we finally get the weather I'd been hoping for, and more. In a crazy day full of blizzard conditions, I have an incredible hunt. This is as good as it gets when it comes to beautiful scenery and deer behavior in the snow. To top it off, as the door was starting to close on the season, one of the big mature bucks I was looking for made his way through the deep snow into bow range. As always, the final hunt is just a small part of it for me, the story and journey is everything. Can’t recall ever seeing footage of bucks with snow in their racks. Awesome seeing them feed in the snow. Once again you laid down some excellent footage! Congrats Jared.

I have never seen deer with frosted antlers. I guess they were wet to catch the snow. Very cool to see. I would be half tempted to see if there was any way to keep that look on a mount if it could be done without ruining it.

That was a great conclusion to your season! Nice shot under difficult conditions. You'll remember that hunt long after the bow hunting days are over. The fact that the deer ran into a valley and you drug it out through a blizzard is pretty awesome and only makes the night that much more vivid memorable. Thanks for taking us along on the journey, thoroughly enjoyed it!
