It’s actually funny to just see that so many of the comments were kids and babies actually, and I’m a roblox player myself that has been playing since 2013-14.

It’s like steam in a way, if all of the games were developed by toddlers in suits.
Honestly, that first comment is a way more mature response than the majority of gaming conversations online. They like the game and they don't care what others say about it, and out there there are legit adults sending death threats to people who disagree with their opinions.

Teen Roblox player here, can confirm, 99% of games suck, but my main appeal from it is that ability to hop between good games, and being able to move on whenever you want. I like how goofy it can be, and I feel like in order to play Roblox, you just need to find what you want to play at the time. Also, I feel like the massive spread of bad games being recommended is because of the age demographic, so It’s mainly about finding those diamonds in the rough, and when you play Roblox as much as I do, you start to be a diamond collector. Thanks again for making the kids mad.

I agree with your points, its hard trying to sort through all of the garbage on Roblox but the payoff you get when you find a good game is great. My personal favorite is a game called DEAD AHEAD.

I feel bad for people who make good original games on Roblox, but they don't get enough recognition, because many people just want to play the same thing over and over again, and aren't willing to try new things. These people have great ideas, but they can't get them out because of how limited Roblox's tools are. But the platforms that do allow for this sort of creativity are too complicated for people, and they don't have time to learn how to use it. I hope that one day a program comes out that's not super hard to learn how to use, but allows for people's ideas and dreams for their games to become a reality, because I'm sure this would inspire people to try go farther with their cool ideas and dreams. Plus promoting a small indie game idea is a lot better and more interesting than seeing people copy and paste the same game ideas with barely any variation that just scams children into spending money where they shouldn't be spending it.

I've been playing roblox for years now I am very happy of this review, because we can still clearly tell you've actually played games and explored it without giving your proper opinion, unlike most people that like or don't like roblox and can't actually prove why because they either have dipped their toes into it or can't actually make good criticism. One thing I would add however is that it is still kind of the community's fault if the game is bad. I do agree that the bad moderation, bad payement and physics are bad and we can't do anything about it (personally I play hardcore obbies a lot and we as the harder obby community don't want the physics to change because we're able to perform glitches which are interesting and fun to use), but the microtransactions, the copied games and the absurdly bad community is the community's fault, because compared to a lot of other games, Roblox's motto is still "Powering Imagination" (even tho it's more powering shitty moderation than anything) so the community have a far bigger impact on the game than in most other games.
I agree, people should be payed more for their games. I've seen some really dedicated devs (like D8Dev and their game Base Wars, they've been updating their game regularly since its release in 2009, so major props to them) and I feel as though more people will strive to make good games since their actions will be more rewarded. However, this is a double-edged sword, as there will also be those who will ONLY do it for the pay, so their games will be very low effort and low quality, only for the sake of getting the cash money. This is the main reason why stuff like movie sequels suck, as they're done only for the extra dosh revenue. They aren't made with the intention of expanding the story or exploring their characters further, they're made because HoLlYwOoD demands more of the ca-ching. At this point I've completely lost my train of thought, so I'm just gonna leave this here. Damn you ADHD BRAIN!

My little brother and I have been playing Roblox for years, and I have dabbled into Roblox Studio. I agree with most of what was said in this video. Here are some of my thoughts about the game: Personally, I just think it is weird that you keep calling Roblox a "game". In some ways, it is like referring to TH-cam as a "video". Roblox is a cross platform website and a game engine. There are millions of games of different genres and varying quality on the website. I would call Roblox a "site". Saying Roblox is for "babies" is honestly pretty accurate considering the demographics of Roblox. This is the reason why most of the games on Roblox suck. They are meant to appeal to young kids. There are good games out there, but they are hard to find. They often can't compete with the low effort copied clickbait games that populate the front page. I think Roblox is kind of like TH-cam and other websites in that way. The most popular and plentiful videos on TH-cam aren't exactly the highest quality. Roblox as a website isn't the greatest either. The rules and moderation are atrocious. It reminds me of the situation with TH-cam Kids. There will always be mistakes with anything that big. Still, the moderation could still be greatly improved. Roblox from the developer side of things is also pretty bad. Roblox Studio is very accessible (at least for me), but it is still limited. The game development scene is very competitive, meaning that you are kind of forced to make a flashy clickbait game in order to make any money. Also, as you have stated, a lot of that revenue goes straight to Roblox. In some ways, Roblox kind of feels like a scam to get young game developers to make profitable games for their website. It's kind of ironic, considering how most Roblox games are also built like scams. The Roblox company is the only one who wins. So yeah, even though I enjoy Roblox, I can agree that it is pretty bad website. It's dumb at best and predatory at worst. But hey, most big website are like that. I hope none of these criticisms stop anyone from having fun. Thank you to anyone who took the time to appreciate my wall of text.
I agree, just think foekee is focusing on the cons over the pros. Also asking your twitter for games generally isn't the best advice, just trying out non-simulator games (aside from tds or something) will usually lead you to something good.

Personally I like Roblox and I'm a teenager, I'll probably grow out of it at some point. But I like the many options and how there's games about shows I watch and it's completely free. I do understand your opinion it's meant for kids and 80% of the content is for kids
For me I just play like a few different games that I like regularly like generic roleplay gaem or theme park tycoon 2. And with theme park tycoon 2 I've played roller coaster tycoon, planet coaster, no limits and another one but I still like the roblox version. I think the multiplayer is better than other games
I really don't like how the income works with games developers it's so bad. Other than that I really just play it to spend time with my younger brother since I spend almost no time with him (in person) so that's the only part I enjoy. I used to be a avid roblox fan, and by far, its probably most time i put into gaming. I joined in the glory days mid-late 2010, and made my first account in 2012, so i basically grew up with Roblox, and Roblox grew up with me. But the current state is unforgivable. Roblox is constantly promoting stupid low quality games for 3 year olds, while tossing aside old players like me, and ignoring good games that even had breakthroughs and peak innovation. They became the verry thing i hate, and that is a money-Hungary cooperate mess that has no loyalty to their fans.
I play roblox almost everyday and even though im a fairly recent player, I can see what you mean. The fact that the events tab is more of a billboards tab then anything is stupid.
When they made a Walmart event, i quitted roblox because i wans't taking all those stupid poor excuses of a game anymore. It's always the same crap, a poorly made "event" created only to make money.

same, I have been playing roblox since 2014 and I’ve kind of been getting bored of it now. There are only a few games that are good since most of them are for brain dead booger eating toddlers (simulator, tycoon games, obbies, RP games, etc) and half of the games that are good are really just copies of other real games (example I found a game that’s basically dead by daylight called escape the darkness and it’s actually pretty decent and well made). Not only that but the moderation is bad too, and most of the community. I’d say roblox in 2018 and before was the best, there were well made and original games. There were a lot of good horror games too (don’t blink, before the dawn, darkness and darkness 2) and even if you find good games they’ll probably stop updating, get boring, die, game gets ruined by new updates etc. I might be quitting roblox soon if I can’t find any new good games since the ones I have been playing I have everything in the game already and there isn’t really anything else to do. But yeah roblox has been going downhill, voice chat might be fun though

As someone who’s been an avid Roblox player for years, I can say that the platform is honestly a dumpster fire. However, I think that’s where it gets a lot of it’s charm. Anyone can join the community at any time and fit right in. Also, many of the experiences on the platform are honestly amazing and keep me coming back on a regular basis. While I agree that it isn’t the highest quality of platforms, it’s still just kinda fun to mess around in.

One game I play very frequently on roblox is called Plane Crazy, the developer made an extremely true statement where Roblox promotes rushed, unpolished games as apposed to actually decent games that have actual passion behind them. Its so true, I'm not a developer myself, but just from looking at Roblox Studio, it really only takes a couple of weeks or months to get the hang of it.
I've been playing Roblox since 2013, and i do agree with this video. The site is pretty boring nowadays, there are very few games i enjoy on Roblox anymore. Roblox has some alright games to play when i'm bored though.
When you are in real life you have simingly normal interactions, but when you are in gaming reality the amount of squeaking kids burns yours ears, the amount of angry people and mean words and phrases actually make you terrified and exceeds all possible limits of vocabullary, and the amount of grammar mistakes actually make you ask the future of your country.
I’ve played roblox for hundreds of hours and I can agree. Roblox has tens of thousands of good games floating in an ocean of millions of crap, even the more popular games are still mid. It’s a good example that if you give a lot of people a lot of tools, you’ll get some amazing things, but you’ll mostly just end up with waste.
Some loser who's played Roblox for 8 years here. 99.9% of Roblox is just complete dogshit (No exaggeration). The game's physics are janky, buggy. The community sucks. It's hard to get into if you're over the age of 13, nearly every game has some sort of p2w / useless things that cost real money. But the reason why some teens and young adults play Roblox is because of 1 or 2 games. Some have insanely good graphics, fun combat, good lore, and very rarely a fun and welcoming community. Though the thing is if you don't like the jankiness of Roblox, or just Roblox in general, there's nothing wrong with that and it just isn't for you. But this doesn't mean that Roblox is an objectively bad game. A big factor of why I still play Roblox is because I've played it since I was 8 years old back in 2013. I've grown up with Roblox, so I enjoy the way it plays. How the avatars are shaped. etc. It has a ton of nostalgia for me. But that isn't the only reason teens / young adults still play it. You need to find the game that perfectly fits you. A game that has the qualities you enjoy. For me, I enjoy games like Critical Strike, Troublesome Battlegrounds 2, and Verdant Moon, which is inspired by another game on Roblox called Rouge Lineage. Overall, Roblox is almost entirely dogshit, finding a game you enjoy is incredibly hard and it's not for everyone. Anyway, thanks for listening to my TED talk, love your videos, cya.

For about 5 years, I've been playing Roblox and through out all 5 of those years, not once have I had as much fun as playing games like Team Fortress 2, Garry's Mod, and Half-life. And yes, those are all source games and i might be bias about source games but it's at least way more entertaining than games like "SLIDE DOWN AMONG US FOR FREE ROBUX". I don't play Roblox anymore but i can still imagine it's as worse as it was like a year ago.
I simply appreciate how the game can allow one to play a variety of good/bad games with your friends who may not be able to afford many games or different systems. You can play with almost anyone and still have a good time no matter what platform you're on. That's one thing out of what I would say is a 50/50 split in good and bad things about Roblox.

Roblox, to me, feels like a starting platform, where new players and developers can go to test out new ideas and see what they like to do until they’re able to try some “big kid” games.
To me its the opposite, I believe that roblox tricks children into thinking they can make big coin by making games on roblox, and the fact that roblox uses the most rare and random programming language (lua) seems to tell me that they don't want you going to other game engines. But I do respect your opinion as it does make a lot of sense.
As a Roblox player, the positives you listed (easily accessible, don’t have to download anything just click and play) are literally the only good things I could say abt it besides the fact that Roblox has games that wouldn’t ever make it as a real game, for example if breaking point wasn’t on Roblox nobody would play it since nobody would waist 200mb for that, also I like the random so bad it’s good games I just type random stuff for example “fan boy chum chum” or something else and it’s funny playing those games, I do genuinely find a lot of the games good but that’s cause I’m not a grown man I’m a teenager, and yes I do play actual quality games like terraria.

I see what Foekoe is saying, and I agree, I only play like, a few games on it, and even then not a long time I would just like to say what I said previously about tf2 and tc2: 1) Some people like the physics engine better because of how simple it is, giving better air control, allowing people to rain high radioactive bombs on ignorant savages 2) Some people like that it has no bots and is getting frequent balances changes and updates 3) In tf2's community's servers, if you just want to play a normal game, it's going to take a while before you find one that doesn't have a cOoL aNd FuNkY qUiRk, you just have to pray that you eventually find one or that uncletopia is open (that's the whole reason why it's a popular server in the first place lol) 4) You get credits each time the round ends, speeding up the time it takes to get weapons and cosmetics That's just what I think about it, if anyone has any objections and why, I'd love to see it

Yea I still play roblox at age 15, but I love build a boat for treasure. Its so broken and fun to mess with. You can make fricken mechs and spaceships, its very fun. Still I agree, Roblox is a baby game, but I feel that roblox is trying to appeal to all ages with things like voice chat or 18+ features
As someone who plays roblox and has done so since 2015, developing wise there's a really huge issue people really miss, how inflexible the game engine is. It's extremely hard to make something that stands out and roblox barley offers right tools to do so, yes it's possible to make a stylized game but it'll look like roblox, and anyone slightly familiar with the game engine will notice right away, even if you make the game super different to roblox, there's gonna still be elements that point out the game's origin (debug keys, the pause icon and menu which can't be customised in any way) and i really wish ways to change that were possible, although they feel impossible The engine has potential in my eyes but its hard to make anything potential with it because people don't see your creation, they see a roblox model or a game, and chances are they'll dismiss it because "roblox is babi gaem" TL;DR, if you make something in roblox, it's noticeable right away it's made in roblox, and not only does roblox not provide proper tools to at least stylize your game, but the way to do so nowadays is really awful and unfun

When it comes to roblox game development, gameplay wise yes it's very flexible imo, but Visually there's just so much built in unmodifyable gunk that you can barley stand out, anyone who knows roblox in the slightest will instantly tell if a image is from roblox, that's my main gripe with roblox.
yeah I mean visually, roblox was ment to be entirely lego-themed, so of course visually the engine looks like plastic; because it is. the entire point of roblox was to be a LEGO DIY gamemaker for kids to share and play together in small numbers, not become this gross corporate giant assigned with the incorrect task of keeping kids hooked for as long as possible. it was essentially an MMORPG where kids built the worlds. now the best games are nearly standalone yet tied to the ancient ideas of what roblox was supposed to be: a lego website to share your lil builds to others.
I played Roblox a lot with my friends when I was a bit younger. We separated eventually, and that made me realize something. "God this game is actually terrible." I don't wanna sound like a bootlicker but I agree with all of your points, and although I'll miss those old, simpler times, thank god I moved on. ...to indie games too. The circle is complete.
as some one who plays roblox, yeah 99% of the games are garbage and most of the ones i play are way too rare or underrated, and the fact they removed all the features to find new obscure games allows all the cash grab games to stay up in the "most played" or "popular" tabs meaning its almost impossible for new good games to be made.
I personally do play roblox in my spare time and this review is very accurate. Even when I do play roblox I usually only play one of 3 games and there is only really 1 that I would say is "higher quality."

I honestly think that there is a fraction of a percentage of games on Roblox that has the potential to be good games but are held back by the absolute mess that Roblox is. For example, I was hanging out with my baby brother and he was watching someone play Piggy on Roblox and my brain said: "Time for your new hyperfixication!" Story wise, Piggy has a well written story but the real nightmare is that it's a Roblox game, and as a Roblox game, it is one of the worst gameplay experiences I've ever had and would have rather have lived in the apocalypse than do it again. Now, would I have known about Piggy if it wasn't a Peppa Pig parody "horror" game on Roblox? No, because not a lot of indie games get the recognition and respect they deserve but that's entirely different topic. My point, there are good games on Roblox but Roblox is not a good game.
I agree. Im starting to noticed that lot of good games are held back by microtranscation and bad gameplay. I stop playing roblox because I wasn't having a lot of fun and almost every game felt like pay-to-win. I also noticed that lot of roblox games are really competitive, which isn't really a bad thing, but with players that just want to have a fun time it really stressful . l just want a game with a nice story, fun gameplay, and no microtranscation.

Teen Roblox player here, can confirm, 99% of games suck, but my main appeal from it is that ability to hop between good games, and being able to move on whenever you want. I like how goofy it can be, and I feel like in order to play Roblox, you just need to find what you want to play at the time.
Also, I feel like the massive spread of bad games being recommended is because of the age demographic, so It’s mainly about finding those diamonds in the rough, and when you play Roblox as much as I do, you start to be a diamond collector.

I feel bad for people who make good original games on Roblox, but they don't get enough recognition, because many people just want to play the same thing over and over again, and aren't willing to try new things. These people have great ideas, but they can't get them out because of how limited Roblox's tools are. But the platforms that do allow for this sort of creativity are too complicated for people, and they don't have time to learn how to use it. I hope that one day a program comes out that's not super hard to learn how to use, but allows for people's ideas and dreams for their games to become a reality, because I'm sure this would inspire people to try go farther with their cool ideas and dreams. Plus promoting a small indie game idea is a lot better and more interesting than seeing people copy and paste the same game ideas with barely any variation that just scams children into spending money where they shouldn't be spending it.
It isn't (mostly) the fault of people who play those: roblox exploits it's devs and only pushes garbage that will make them the most profit through shady practices.

I've been playing roblox for years now I am very happy of this review, because we can still clearly tell you've actually played games and explored it without giving your proper opinion, unlike most people that like or don't like roblox and can't actually prove why because they either have dipped their toes into it or can't actually make good criticism. One thing I would add however is that it is still kind of the community's fault if the game is bad. I do agree that the bad moderation, bad payement and physics are bad and we can't do anything about it (personally I play hardcore obbies a lot and we as the harder obby community don't want the physics to change because we're able to perform glitches which are interesting and fun to use), but the microtransactions, the copied games and the absurdly bad community is the community's fault, because compared to a lot of other games, Roblox's motto is still "Powering Imagination" (even tho it's more powering shitty moderation than anything) so the community have a far bigger impact on the game than in most other games.
I agree, people should be payed more for their games. I've seen some really dedicated devs (like D8Dev and their game Base Wars, they've been updating their game regularly since its release in 2009, so major props to them) and I feel as though more people will strive to make good games since their actions will be more rewarded. However, this is a double-edged sword, as there will also be those who will ONLY do it for the pay, so their games will be very low effort and low quality, only for the sake of getting the cash money. This is the main reason why stuff like movie sequels suck, as they're done only for the extra dosh revenue. They aren't made with the intention of expanding the story or exploring their characters further, they're made because HoLlYwOoD demands more of the ca-ching.

My little brother and I have been playing Roblox for years, and I have dabbled into Roblox Studio. I agree with most of what was said in this video. Here are some of my thoughts about the game:
Personally, I just think it is weird that you keep calling Roblox a "game". In some ways, it is like referring to TH-cam as a "video". Roblox is a cross platform website and a game engine. There are millions of games of different genres and varying quality on the website. I would call Roblox a "site".
Saying Roblox is for "babies" is honestly pretty accurate considering the demographics of Roblox. This is the reason why most of the games on Roblox suck. They are meant to appeal to young kids.
There are good games out there, but they are hard to find. They often can't compete with the low effort copied clickbait games that populate the front page. I think Roblox is kind of like TH-cam and other websites in that way. The most popular and plentiful videos on TH-cam aren't exactly the highest quality.
Roblox as a website isn't the greatest either. The rules and moderation are atrocious. It reminds me of the situation with TH-cam Kids. There will always be mistakes with anything that big. Still, the moderation could still be greatly improved.
Roblox from the developer side of things is also pretty bad. Roblox Studio is very accessible (at least for me), but it is still limited. The game development scene is very competitive, meaning that you are kind of forced to make a flashy clickbait game in order to make any money. Also, as you have stated, a lot of that revenue goes straight to Roblox.
In some ways, Roblox kind of feels like a scam to get young game developers to make profitable games for their website. It's kind of ironic, considering how most Roblox games are also built like scams. The Roblox company is the only one who wins.
So yeah, even though I enjoy Roblox, I can agree that it is pretty bad website. It's dumb at best and predatory at worst. But hey, most big website are like that. I hope none of these criticisms stop anyone from having fun.

I used to be a avid roblox fan, and by far, its probably most time i put into gaming.
I joined in the glory days mid-late 2010, and made my first account in 2012, so i basically grew up with Roblox, and Roblox grew up with me.
But the current state is unforgivable. Roblox is constantly promoting stupid low quality games for 3 year olds, while tossing aside old players like me, and ignoring good games that even had breakthroughs and peak innovation.
They became the verry thing i hate, and that is a money-Hungary cooperate mess that has no loyalty to their fans.
I play roblox almost everyday and even though im a fairly recent player, I can see what you mean. The fact that the events tab is more of a billboards tab then anything is stupid.
When they made a Walmart event, i quitted roblox because i wans't taking all those stupid poor excuses of a game anymore. It's always the same crap, a poorly made "event" created only to make money.

same, I have been playing roblox since 2014 and I’ve kind of been getting bored of it now. There are only a few games that are good since most of them are for brain dead booger eating toddlers (simulator, tycoon games, obbies, RP games, etc) and half of the games that are good are really just copies of other real games (example I found a game that’s basically dead by daylight called escape the darkness and it’s actually pretty decent and well made). Not only that but the moderation is bad too, and most of the community. I’d say roblox in 2018 and before was the best, there were well made and original games. There were a lot of good horror games too (don’t blink, before the dawn, darkness and darkness 2) and even if you find good games they’ll probably stop updating, get boring, die, game gets ruined by new updates etc. I might be quitting roblox soon if I can’t find any new good games since the ones I have been playing I have everything in the game already and there isn’t really anything else to do. But yeah roblox has been going downhill, voice chat might be fun though

As someone who’s been an avid Roblox player for years, I can say that the platform is honestly a dumpster fire. However, I think that’s where it gets a lot of it’s charm. Anyone can join the community at any time and fit right in. Also, many of the experiences on the platform are honestly amazing and keep me coming back on a regular basis. While I agree that it isn’t the highest quality of platforms, it’s still just kinda fun to mess around in.

One game I play very frequently on roblox is called Plane Crazy, the developer made an extremely true statement where Roblox promotes rushed, unpolished games as apposed to actually decent games that have actual passion behind them. I've been playing Roblox since 2013, and i do agree with this video. The site is pretty boring nowadays, there are very few games i enjoy on Roblox anymore.

I’ve played roblox for hundreds of hours and I can agree. Roblox has tens of thousands of good games floating in an ocean of millions of crap, even the more popular games are still mid. It’s a good example that if you give a lot of people a lot of tools, you’ll get some amazing things, but you’ll mostly just end up with waste.
Pardon there is much much much better games than Roblox.

Some loser who's played Roblox for 8 years here. 99.9% of Roblox is just complete dogshit (No exaggeration). The game's physics are janky, buggy. The community sucks. It's hard to get into if you're over the age of 13, nearly every game has some sort of p2w / useless things that cost real money. But the reason why some teens and young adults play Roblox is because of 1 or 2 games. Some have insanely good graphics, fun combat, good lore, and very rarely a fun and welcoming community. Though the thing is if you don't like the jankiness of Roblox, or just Roblox in general, there's nothing wrong with that and it just isn't for you. But this doesn't mean that Roblox is an objectively bad game. A big factor of why I still play Roblox is because I've played it since I was 8 years old back in 2013. I've grown up with Roblox, so I enjoy the way it plays. How the avatars are shaped. etc. It has a ton of nostalgia for me. But that isn't the only reason teens / young adults still play it. You need to find the game that perfectly fits you. A game that has the qualities you enjoy. For me, I enjoy games like Critical Strike, Troublesome Battlegrounds 2, and Verdant Moon, which is inspired by another game on Roblox called Rouge Lineage. Overall, Roblox is almost entirely dogshit, finding a game you enjoy is incredibly hard and it's not for everyone. Anyway, thanks for listening to my TED talk, love your videos, cya.

For about 5 years, I've been playing Roblox and through out all 5 of those years, not once have I had as much fun as playing games like Team Fortress 2, Garry's Mod, and Half-life. And yes, those are all source games and i might be bias about source games but it's at least way more entertaining than games like "SLIDE DOWN AMONG US FOR FREE ROBUX". I don't play Roblox anymore but i can still imagine it's as worse as it was like a year ago.
The current state of roblox is a mess. I still play roblox now and then and I support this statement.
I simply appreciate how the game can allow one to play a variety of good/bad games with your friends who may not be able to afford many games or different systems. You can play with almost anyone and still have a good time no matter what platform you're on. That's one thing out of what I would say is a 50/50 split in good and bad things about Roblox.

Roblox, to me, feels like a starting platform, where new players and developers can go to test out new ideas and see what they like to do until they’re able to try some “big kid” games.
To me its the opposite, I believe that roblox tricks children into thinking they can make big coin by making games on roblox, and the fact that roblox uses the most rare and random programming language (lua) seems to tell me that they don't want you going to other game engines. But I do respect your opinion as it does make a lot of sense.

As a Roblox player, the positives you listed (easily accessible, don’t have to download anything just click and play) are literally the only good things I could say abt it besides the fact that Roblox has games that wouldn’t ever make it as a real game, for example if breaking point wasn’t on Roblox nobody would play it since nobody would waist 200mb for that, also I like the random so bad it’s good games I just type random stuff for example “fan boy chum chum” or something else and it’s funny playing those games, I do genuinely find a lot of the games good but that’s cause I’m not a grown man I’m a teenager, and yes I do play actual quality games like terraria.

Completely agree most games on Roblox are either bad games that has barley been worked on or just click bait, but sometimes you can find some genuinely good games but it’s hard to find like a nail in a haystack
The only thing I unironically play on Roblox is Super Doomspire, and even that I barely play. It's more fun to make an avatar than it is to play 99% of the games, I can totally respect spending $10 on an outfit as a joke.

Let me explain, so basically some of the games actually have good concepts and gameplay, but they never went to the front page because those dang copy and paste OBBIES, TYCOONS AND SIMULATOR STUFF (actual made for “kids”) took over the front page and the underrated games fade in the shadows, although a little mount of people still playing those but still, Roblox’s creatives just kept dropping down like BAD

I agree with you on this almost completely. There’s a few good/decent games but a lot of it is trash and that’s coming from somebody who kind of enjoys Roblox. Any ways love your vids keep up the good work.

I would just like to say what I said previously about tf2 and tc2:
1) Some people like the physics engine better because of how simple it is, giving better air control, allowing people to rain high radioactive bombs on ignorant savages
2) Some people like that it has no bots and is getting frequent balances changes and updates
3) In tf2's community's servers, if you just want to play a normal game, it's going to take a while before you find one that doesn't have a cOoL aNd FuNkY qUiRk, you just have to pray that you eventually find one or that uncletopia is open (that's the whole reason why it's a popular server in the first place lol)
4) You get credits each time the round ends, speeding up the time it takes to get weapons and cosmetics
That's just what I think about it, if anyone has any objections and why, I'd love to see it

@@oefest personally I just dislike the janky controls, it's not like it's bad I just don't like the controls. I also don't like how it feels slow paced, I don't even know how that's possible. And honestly who gives a fuck about a funny epic skin you can put on your weapon. Personally typical colors isn't bad If anything it's a pretty good game for what the roblox edgine can offer, however I just don't like it. People who like typical colors I bet have never played TF2 imo.
The only problem I have with most roblox fps games is that the movement doesn’t feel satisfying enough, like it feels like moving on a rough surface

Yea I still play roblox at age 15, but I love build a boat for treasure. Its so broken and fun to mess with. You can make fricken mechs and spaceships, its very fun. Gonna say it now, as somebody who played Roblox for six years, I can confirm, *it is absolute SHIT.*
As someone who plays roblox and has done so since 2015, developing wise there's a really huge issue people really miss, how inflexible the game engine is.
It's extremely hard to make something that stands out and roblox barley offers right tools to do so, yes it's possible to make a stylized game but it'll look like roblox, and anyone slightly familiar with the game engine will notice right away, even if you make the game super different to roblox, there's gonna still be elements that point out the game's origin (debug keys, the pause icon and menu which can't be customised in any way) and i really wish ways to change that were possible, although they feel impossible
The engine has potential in my eyes but its hard to make anything potential with it because people don't see your creation, they see a roblox model or a game, and chances are they'll dismiss it because "roblox is babi gaem"
TL;DR, if you make something in roblox, it's noticeable right away it's made in roblox, and not only does roblox not provide proper tools to at least stylize your game, but the way to do so nowadays is really awful and unfun

yeah I mean visually, roblox was ment to be entirely lego-themed, so of course visually the engine looks like plastic; because it is. the entire point of roblox was to be a LEGO DIY gamemaker for kids to share and play together in small numbers, not become this gross corporate giant assigned with the incorrect task of keeping kids hooked for as long as possible.
it was essentially an MMORPG where kids built the worlds. now the best games are nearly standalone yet tied to the ancient ideas of what roblox was supposed to be: a lego website to share your lil builds to others.

@@dayminder7414 Well, this post was from a while back, and while I don't really play roblox anymore, the 3 games I were talking about were Outlaster, The Rake Remastered, and Robot 64. Now, however, when I do play roblox I find myself playing more "joke games" like Raise a Floppa and Bingus Basement.

I honestly think that there is a fraction of a percentage of games on Roblox that has the potential to be good games but are held back by the absolute mess that Roblox is. For example, I was hanging out with my baby brother and he was watching someone play Piggy on Roblox and my brain said: "Time for your new hyperfixication!" Story wise, Piggy has a well written story but the real nightmare is that it's a Roblox game, and as a Roblox game, it is one of the worst gameplay experiences I've ever had and would have rather have lived in the apocalypse than do it again. Now, would I have known about Piggy if it wasn't a Peppa Pig parody "horror" game on Roblox? No, because not a lot of indie games get the recognition and respect they deserve but that's entirely different topic. My point, there are good games on Roblox but Roblox is not a good game.
I agree. Im starting to noticed that lot of good games are held back by microtranscation and bad gameplay. I stop playing roblox because I wasn't having a lot of fun and almost every game felt like pay-to-win. I also noticed that lot of roblox games are really competitive, which isn't really a bad thing, but with players that just want to have a fun time it really stressful . l just want a game with a nice story, fun gameplay, and no microtranscation.
