Fun fact if you Alt+Tab the King Kong game you will see that the name game file is just "Monke". This game was so rushed they didn't even bother checking the name when exporting it 😭
Actually I've seen this with quite a few games, even great titles. Most of them were indie games though where they left the working title as the name of the file

all my homies miss when literally any animated movie came out there was an 100% chance a ds or gba game appeared along with it
Even if it isn't the worst of the lot, the Gollum game strikes me as the most baffling. Like playing as the Avatar or King Kong is at least cool in principle, was there really a substantial enough group of LoTR fans who were clambering for an interactive Gollum experience? Who was this game made for?!
Also I didn't even realize they made a new ATLA game until I saw this video, guess that goes to show how memorable of an experience it must be.
Yea whoever bought the license for LOTR for the game dev team basically known only for 2d games definetly isn’t smart or competent in the game industry which shows that they closed the dev team afterwards.

I’ve actually played Robo Quest and to be honest it’s good fun! Fokoe sang most of the praises I would have already but yeah the movement is great and progression is fun, along with its wacky cell shaded aesthetic similar to Borderlands. I’d recommend checking it out!

The whole “only one year” excuse doesn’t even work majoras mask was made in a year.
It's unfair to compare Majora's Mask to those games, because Majora's Mask used the _same_ source code as Ocarina of Time, like how they used the Link's Awakening source code into the Oracle games. There's a huge difference between reusing the same source code/engine for a sequel and making an entirely new game from the ground up.

Bet the Avatar game doesn't even go all in on being a LEGO like or whatever, if you're gonna replicate the LEGO formula then you gotta do the entire experience, that means more levels, more puzzles, more characters(ideally most if not all of them having a playable counterpart), excuses to return to a level like collectables, combat that isn't mind numbing because it doesn't stick around for longer than it really needs to and when it does it's sparingly scattered throughout the experience, etc. so all in all it's a shame that it's bad, it could have been so much better.

When I saw RedFalls trailer, I thought it would be really fun! Open world borderlands with vampires sounds fun, I think we can all agree on that. Then the game came out, and I didn’t even get it because of the reviews.
