@@Simon-talks gear at actual moderate dosages say under 1 gram a week total Will only work if everything else is on point. And yes if You have never taken anything before you Will grow at first But its the same as training you can get to a 315 squat and get some results But if You keep doing that 315 for the same reps it Dont to shit for growing more muscle. You either have to up the weight or do more with 315 to grow more. And upping the weight Will very likley get you injured and meanwhile doing 315 for 20 eventually is much safer But still making progress. So yes gear works But not very Well unless you are perfect in all other aspects it just helps those things you already do work better and it lets you grow more from those things.

People that have worked out regularly and have built their body know that the feeling you get physically and mentally from staying on a disciplined program is what drives you, more than the looks. If you workout only for looks, it's likely you will have hard time doing it, because your looks will not change over night. You have to go through a discipline and mental change before you will even see any major change in your looks.

Arnold has always been exceptionally bright and intelligent. Even when he's young. As sad as it is, he simply cannot be with us longer after all these years and with the regime...I'm talking chemical, etc that he needed to do to get to that level...in the 70s... He's literally on borrowed time. Which sucks because he was the man when I was a kid. The biggest Male star on the planet. People seemingly expect him to be here forever. But soon, one of these days he won't be. Like Stallone, the world and definitely entertainment won't be the same place. Especially for guys that work out, every guy...every single guy that works out or has worked out looks up to or is a fan of Arnold. Period. Imagine when he is gone how much love is gonna be coming his way. I wish people treasured this guy and his influence more while he is alive.

So the arguement is that if you will lose it all - then why look buff temporarily and not work on something which will stand after you die - like building an estate ;) . Do you see? Men who were about being successful thought long term and found that playing at being a body builder for a while is a waste of time - it only wasn't a waste of time for Arnold because he used it to get into movies and launch a career that outlasts body building.

They are 100 percent dedicated people who have to stick to their game all of the time.I' ve come across a few and they seemed to be very quiet and very humble people who just do their own thing. That can't be said about boxers who have to be violent.

It's unbelievable that people think muscles turn to fat if you stop working out. During basic training, I was not allowed to go to the gym the first 4 weeks, so I lost about 19 lbs of mostly muscle, but because we were running a lot, I stayed lean, if anything, I got leaner. If you stop working out and stop all kinds of physical activity, then yes, you will lose some muscle and gain fat, so, to the ignoramus, it may look like the muscle is turning into fat.

    • @joebloggs6922

I've had to hammer this home to my dad lol. The reason people think this is because when people stop working out, they don't adjust their caloric intake to suit the decrease in physical activity so they enter a caloric surplus and this gain fat
