There are some people who decide to keep accents on purpose for the identification value but also to show a bit of their heritage. Had an Italian law professor who said he prefered to talk with accent so people knew he was Italian as he thought that was more straightforward rather than trying to hide where he is from.

Yes, there is a lot of skill and athleticism (which requires flexibility) to throw those items far, which his build wouldn't suggest he has; he looks like he maxed out his strength rather than athleticism and most people don't train to throw things
