I am giving up on finding a company that actually cares. As a leader, I spend more time protecting my team from my own organizations than driving the stated values of the organizations which they preach but never really follow.

Sad sad world we live in. How are you supposed to trust anyone whether they are there for your humanity or position? But in western countries people in higher positions are respectful towards lower ranks. For the first time ever when a director of the company said hi to a housekeeper I was appalled because in Soviet countries you do not see that. The people of higher ranks are so full of themselves and arrogant that they think anyone beneath them is nobody and that kind of attitude and thinking instilled from a younger age which always made me wonder why are you any better than the ones who have less money and status?

That’s the world we live in sadly. People are often judged and treated by others based on what they can do and provide for us instead of who they are.💛
By allowing this type of behavior to continue to happen to ourselves and others it makes you wonder if we are as much a part of the problem as the ones that continue to treat others in such a way.🤔✨💛

Finally some real self awareness in these comments!!!
Absolutely. Codependency is simply covert narcissism that enables the addict/narcissistic behavior.
Men like Simon have integrity of thought without the action of integrity of boundaries that men of character used to possess as a trait.
He truly believes awareness of these narc trait leaders will solve the problem of self centeredness run riot instead of fail safes for the system that will keep the reptilian brain in check.
Only firm boundaries work with narcs/addicts. They are smart enough to logically understand but when put in action the justification machine these people work with has an expert compartmentalization system in the brain. I would guess their reticular activating system in the brain is more efficient but their ability to critically think of several senecios where they are wrong piking holes in their own thought patterns is deficient.
Simon rubs elbows with lots of narcs that use this information and awareness to mask their inability to possess empathy and to actually understand they can not be trusted with power until they fully accept their brain leans toward selfishness as a rule which is how things get done…but without empathy explains why stocks in Lockheed Martin aren’t at talked about while they put nukes around a country, engage in a proxy war they fund with our money then for the bleeding hearts of the world frame it as a HUMANITARIAN issue. lol.
All info serves their justification of why they deserve the good cups. Why they deserve all the benefits of starting a war but none of the consequences while they blame all others and spare NO seconds looking at their own action affecting outcomes.
Our inability to hold boundaries while understanding even us people pleasers snd codependents tend to have these narc traits.

Then what other way you would recommend them to do?
I understand your point, but the way you convey without solutions is not helping either. Currently, there are no better way to determine a person other than based on what they are perceived to be able to do.
The general public are naturally not mind/soul readers.

Re-flow, thank you for your question. ✨ From my perspective I would recommend that we treat people with the same respect, dignity, consideration and value regardless of their perceived status, race, sex, age, education and/or job title. ✨ For those that recognize that they are being treated differently by others based on their title I would bless them with my silence and take my time, money, talents and self elsewhere.💛
The way we treat others matters and is a reflection of not only the values of the company we represent, but more importantly ourselves as well.✨
By choosing to stay in places where our worth is not recognized, appreciated or valued we are doing ourselves and others a disservice.💛
The clothes we wear, title, position or degrees we hold doesn’t make us any more worthy of being treated with dignity and respect. ✨At a fundamental level this isn’t about doing something for the perks or not; but more so about recognizing that I’m the same person I was when I had my title as when I didn’t and therefore deserve to be treated as such.💛
How we treat others and allow others to treat us says a lot about how we perceive ourselves on the inside and out and therefore my question would then be in this scenario why do we see ourselves as more worthy based on our title, socioeconomic status, race, sex, age, ect then not? 💛
Discrimination is discrimination whether it’s obvious and blatant or not and to stay environments where we are not valued and seen for who we are instead of what we are perceived to be makes us in many ways just as much of the problem then the solution from my perception.💛
Thank you for being part of my morning reflection Reflow.💛 People can only treat us how we allow them to and the choice is ours to see our own worth and value even when others don’t.💛 God bless and trust and believe that we all have our roles in society and one is not any more important then the other unless we allow them to be.🙏

Disclaimer: I come in contact with many people on a daily basis from former Soviet countries who sarcastically attack with their words which I have no problem with as I know you closely follow and read my comments kudos to you 😊 but what I want to reiterate this is what I have seen and my perspective is there good side of it that I saw of course! When the time and convenient conversation takes place I will share the other side as well.

Mac Davis: "Oh Lord, it's hard to be humble, when you're perfect in every way ... to know me is to love me...' etc. Humility isn't meek, it's reality. It's never taking the benefits for granted or figuring you "deserve" them because you work hardest, been there the longest, etc. I tell younger colleagues the trick is not have too thin OR to thick a skin - to care what folks think, but not too much. Balance. (And that from a classic overthinker about overthinking - or as I put it - Overthinking Squared';-)

Sadly your comment is on the “finite-game-page”, while Simon works in the infinite world. He isn’t destroying anything, only building up something new. And everybody who likes to join will do so. The old strategies are only fading out by themselfs, because not enough newbie’s will follow. Simple and peaceful.
That’s combining the arche-principles of Shiva (destroying) and Vishnu (Builder) as a “two-in-one” and result will be the principles of Brahma (Maintenance). Off course, this hindu words are mentioned as a kind of philosophical approach, not in a religious way!
