Did I really just rattle can paint my dads motorcycle frame?

Hey everyone, Jason is moving right along on his dads ‪@harleydavidson‬ FLHS. Today he is taking you step by step in what it takes to repaint a motorcycle frame. All being done with rattle cans from ‪@eastwoodco‬. In the process of getting the frame ready for paint Jason needs to get the tig welder back out and take care of some small tasks before paint can be sprayed.

The prep work is always the most important part of a paint job. I've seen exceptional rattle can paint jobs that look, and perform (corrosion), as well as any factory paint.

You did an awesome job! Looks great....I never sweat painting a factory frame black. I degrease it hit the high spots and throw three cans of Walmart's semi gloss black on it, lol 😂 its just as good as AMF! Take er easy man 🤘

What do you think of the chemical paint stripper. Other than being messy as hell any pros or cons that you have heard of. Thanks bud looking good. You take care and ride safe.

Ive experienced the same thing with the mess of using paint stripper. At times I feel like it still won’t strip all the paint off. I’m sure a commercial grade product would work better….

I’m not 100% sure on differences. I would imagine floor board mounts might be one of them.
