Bro imagine if they remastered Mediaeval 2 in the same way they did this game. So many medieval 2 mods handicapped by the script and faction limitations.
i still haven't figured what to do with the couldn't find kingdoms.exe error, even the workarounds people suggest don't seem to do the trick anymore, at least for roar of conquest, my favorite med2 mod.
Happy New Year! Chivalry was is an amazing mod! I'd also love to see a port to an old favorite of mine, The Fall of Rome. It was basically RTR PE in the Barbarian Invasion setting. Quite amazing, and an old favorite on par with RTR, which was also my first mod :)
Happy new year Gudea! Great mod list, id have to say Barbarian empires is my favourite as i'm a sucker for that vanilla look. I do wish there was a version with a smaller campaign map though as I find myself with not enough free time to truly get into the mid to late game of these huge maps!

Chivalry and RTR are my favorite. I personally play Chivalry more since if runs well on Mac. But RTR is a true piece of art. Going forward I am actually more excited for Chivalry than anything else. I think it has the most potential.
You mean imperium surrectum? That mod needs a ton of power (a Mac probably can't provide in this case) that no other mod needs. There are a lot of effects at play there
@@GudeaTWwell, somehow I dont think that is the reason I have 64gb ram so the same mod runs well on windows. Also, when I exit the mod the are some crash logs.

FATW coming to Rome Remastered is massive. I've been checking for this several times each year for the last couple of year... and now randomly come across the info in a random "future mods" section of the video. What a wonderful year to be alive.
I loved all the Historical mods you mentionned. I have some questions Europa Barbarorum: Is the factions gonna speak their own unique language in the campaign map? How did you guys did to have languages such as Celtiberian, Gaulish or Phoenician/Punic? Chivalry total war: Are the huge cultural penalty still a problem? I remembered it was impossible to make the Reconquista as the Iberian factions watever i do after reclaiming a muslim settlement Is there new ideas to make more mods for Barbarian Invasion? I saw 2-3 so far, not really overhaul if we don't count Norman invasion or Arthurian Era. I think there is a lot of potential around that era (Late Roman Empire) especially if you are a fan of that era like me (me watching lot of *Maiorianus* TH-camr videos)

It would be cool to add "new" factions for big maps like "Barbarus Mund" one of the map made by Kirsi. It could be the Vascones, plenty of room. For the units I can bring the information. The Celts could be split in 2 (Goidels and Picts) The Goths renamed as Visigoths (weird that there is Goths and Ostrogoths only) The AI actually going for their objectives, (When I play a germanic faction and invade gaul, the celts completelymake a detour and invade my newly conquered lands instead of goigg after Rome. There is so much to exploit with BI

Rome 1 is better than rome 2 in battles and the map. Imperium surrectum mod actually looks just as good if not better graphically than rome 2 and is the largest and most detailed map of any total war to date the mod is larger than the whole game
@@GudeaTW Lol, I’m not trolling… I would try Rome Remastered, but I keep reading on a lot of mod’s workshop pages about how unstable RR is, and how campaigns stop working after a certain amount of turns in a lot of cases.

Hi , is there a way to play one of the mods i had more fun in the ancient days of 2005-2009 i think, it was Invasio Barbarorum Fladellum Dei, or somethink like that, it was a super fun mod, i remember wonderful units like the Cilibanari, Schola palatina exc. The most fun was to try to save the W Roman Empire against hordes of barbarians, really fun time, is there for RTW remastered too? I still dont have rome remastered but i would buy it just for that great mod i remember with nostalgia. Another great mod was one setted in Britain during arthurian period, but i dont remember the name, there was a map of britain very big, and unit sizes were very small (armies were small) and units names were all stranges, really an exhotic mod, but dont remember the name, yet i had a lot of fun, i would buy Rtw remastered if there were these mods too. Post Scriptum: ive now watched your video on Invasio Barbarorum Ruina Romae, in what way it is different from old Flagellum Dei i was talking about? Is it any better?
@@GudeaTW ok thanks, watched your video on Arthurian TW, and I found that was the britonic mod I played years ago, had much fun with that mod too, i have to try it again. Since u converted some mods, can i suggest you to convert Iberia TW to remastered? It was another fun mod with nice sound fx, exhotic factions and 2 hitpoints per unit, i had some fun with it years ago
Chivarry is really nice mod. I liked to play it. But the bad thing is the recruitment sustem. It shoud be like it is in M2 TW. More advanced troops should be recruited once every 10 turns or ... So I stoped playing RTW Remastered because of bad recruitments sustem. So sad.
Since I've been playing Rome Total War from the beginning and it's my all time favorite game I really wanted to love the remastered and the mods. Unfortunately the remastered really doesn't add anything new to the game play, and as much as I like what the mods do add I just cant get past how bad the campaign maps look on all the mods I've tried. I'm not a modder so I don't really understand why the modded campaign maps can't look as good as the remastered one especial since you spend 90% of your time there. Ever modded campaign map I've seen looks grainy especially the mountains, the snow bleaches every thing out, and the colors look off to me no matter how I try to adjust them. A bad campaign map makes for an unplayable game for me.
Hmm have you tried kirsi's map? Actually a new version of the map generation tool was recently released to improve snow textures especially and utilize Feral's textures, so you'll see some updates to that soon

If I could marry the game play of RTR: Imperium Surrectum or Total Conquest 2.0 with the look of Vanilla Plus or glory-of-rome-frogg222 that would be perfect for me.

Yeah with the huge maps you have to hunker down in a regional campaign... works better for the medieval period I think

@@pizzaman6784 That really only happens in RIS, and currently due to a bug with emergent factions that's due to be fixed. Otherwise RR is very stable.

Ruina Romae is a more fleshed out version, but it also needs some patching

There are some out, and Ganim redid a lot of the ui for Chivalry. I think Ganim's probably looks the best out of all of them.
