Hi Chris, i want to upgrade my i3 Mega is it possible to fit a bigtreetech skr 2?
I think you would have to make a custom bracket of some kind.
@@ChrisRiley aside from custom mounting solutions. I'm new to 3d world. The i3 mega has a touch screen as I'm sure you know. So screen would it need to be custom too? I assume firmware wouldn't be an issue

Do you have an ezabl ? .. I have one to .. if you want for example add an filament sensor you can build you Favoriten marlin and config the sensors .. one thing .. if you have an ender 3 like me .. you have to disanable a lot. To save the config .. If you dont have enough space you get an compiler error.. trust me im a noob in programmig. XD and in eng

@@ChrisRiley for my ender 3 with skr mini e3 v1.2 and stock cr10 display it compiles if i leave the stock display but it won't work ( no animation shown ) if i change it to the display you mention it won't compile 😭😭😭😭

@@enrilopez Sure! It should work on the stock CR10 display, it must be one setting that's just a little off.

You can comment out the options with this line. #define SHOW_BOOTSCREEN
@@ChrisRiley I know this but I want to remove the Marlin 2 logo boot screen which includes Marlin and the bug version.
What you are saying is the first boot screen, which can be easily changed, but I want to remove the second boot screen, whose settings are not in the .h configuration.

Didn’t you make a mistake on the coding by not putting a comma after bmp6 and not removing the comma on the last frame? Edit, lol watched to the end where you changed it 😂

How to hiden marlin logo default in bootscreen
Look for bootscreen at the top of configuration.h

Make sure you are not renaming the bootscreen file incorrectly.
No I am not, actually in the library "bootscreen.h" there is a command given as include "../../../_Bootscreen.h" this command brings the error. Any solution?
@@katifali4688 And you copied the _bootscreen.h file to the Marlin folder correct?
@@ChrisRiley no I didn't, I just saved it. Actually the case is that the bootscreen.h file is different in the version you gave video of and the version 2.1.2, even their names yours one is "_bootscreen.h" whereas in version 2.1.2 it is "bootscreen.h"

I get this all the time. Here's gramerly.
Do we add another s for the possessive form of a name ending with s? Which is correct, Chris’s chair or Chris’ chair? James’s car or James’ car? Actually, both ways are correct. If a proper name ends with an s, you can add just the apostrophe or an apostrophe and an s. See the examples below for an illustration of this type of possessive noun.

Instead of creating a bunch of individual images like this, couldn’t you create a keyframed animation in AE or Premiere, export it as an image sequence and then convert the images to BMP? Seems like this is a lot of extra work with less control
I am not really savvy with those tools, but I would like to see if someone could.
@@ChrisRiley If you have a standard animation video like what you use for your videos, feel free to send it to me and I'll take a stab at using AE to create the BMP files. I can keep them named the same way so it should be an easy swap for you to setup in the config.
