Picked up a red and a blue nylon abrasive cleanup wheel at my local harbor freight today. I am working on a brick cleaning project. The house 1st level is red brick and the 2nd level was an aluminum siding that had been painted white before I bought the house 35 years ago. Apparently they used the wrong paint as it ran down onto the red brick and made some really ugly and hard to remove white stains. I swapped the aluminum siding for vinyl siding but it was already too late and the damage was done. I tried the Prosoco Custom Masonry Cleaner and it hardly even touched those stains. Of course they had been on there for about 34 years LOL. These wheels easily removed the white stains WITHOUT damaging the brick! I then used the brick cleaner to remove the white haze and the brick looks like brand new! The stains really never bothered me but the real estate agent said they need to be cleaned if I wanted to sell the house and not get dinged on my asking price. Amazing transformation! Note: the red 80 grit worked best for these brick stains. Hope this helps someone out there in internet land... We looked at a red brick house today and low and behold it had nasty white stains on the red brick too! I told my buyers agent that we would need to knock off at least 10k on the offer for that issue Hahahahahah. Dang it I hope that seller does NOT see this comment!!!!

Hey, i really like these videos - not even as just reviews but as "how to use" or "introduction to" on accessories etc. Thank you!

Grey is a course grit, Orange is a medium grit, and blue is a fine grit. Most people dont know this

Excellent review. I've watched many of your reviews and have really enjoyed them (I'm a wrench junkie). I'm using an old wire wheel which works great for light surface rust. The problem is those stupid bits of wire, so I only use it outside. Definitely gonna try the plastic hf ones

I use these on my low speed bench grinder with a chuck adapter. I can really lean on these with quite a bit of pressure, and they work very well, and hold up good. I can really force it into the corners.

I don't buy tools from harbor freight but I do get consumables from there, such as zip ties, glue, sanding disk, set screws, ect.

Man...love these wheels. Got tired of wire....especially the throwing of wires. Manage to get a wire stuck in my shoe and brought into my house. My bare foot found it later that night. No MORE. Prefer the blue...and works well on aluminum. Wire was tearing up the aluminum too much.

I use the red one when restoring or just cleaning up old tools..The blue does OK for light polishing

How safe are these on aluminum surfaces, assuming I don’t put a ton of pressure on them?

Always looking for better ways of restoring old tools. Several people on videos are using fiber wheels on their bench grinders. Do you know any place you can buy 6inch fiber wheels? You can on EBay but takes a long time to get them. Thanks

I don't really have a problem with wire wheels flying off and sticking in me but going back later on barefoot or with sandels is a death sentence 😂

you lost me at the battery powered blister pack opener. there are a couple well established tools for that that are a bit more elegant and capable.
