My bike. My assurance of getting home when I'm riding in Africa or far away. That is what reliable is importante for, getting you home! specially when your far way and far from western civilization. I've done thousands of Kms in my 2 prior SuperT and plan to do many more in my current SuperT. For me, there's no other I trust more then this bike.
I would definitely suggest you guys get some dirt bikes maybe start off with some Suzuki DRZ 400s. Wouldn’t be jumping into any Yamaha WR 450s just yet. Lol
If that dirt road was difficult for you, it's not the bikes, it's the riders. Get a basic offroad adventure course under your belt and you will ride trails like that in your sleep.
I just bought a 2017 Yamaha super tenere With 2400 miles on it with all the trimmings crash bars skid plate aftermarket windshield wind buffers tusk Paner rack. I’ve just put 350 miles on it the other day this bike is a dream to ride I come from a dirt bike background this bike is perfect for someone who loves to get off road and have the convenience of highway traveling.
The super Tenere is such a great machine and so reliable.
Where's the fun in reliable?! It's way more exciting to have your bike hemorrhage oil within the first 30 minutes of a multi day trip!

So….. how many bikes do you need for specific purposes? The tenere does all of them.
Here at RoadRash, the number of bikes we need is always one more than we currently have!
Nice to see beginner riders going off road and having fun. Take some riding classes and keep having fun!

Triumph unreliable sh!t... That Super Ten will outlive the triumph 10x
Yes it will!
I bought my tiger 800 xcx new in 2016. Keep a mat under it, has never lost one drop of oil.
To show off, have a trophy, or ego boost get the Triumph. For long trips, carry capacity, reliability, and value for money get the Yamaha.

So where is the cargo. Would that make a difference in your choice.
What Audio setup do you guys use in your videos.
The sound is great
Thanks! I think we used Olympus ME-52W mics plugged into the GoPros, and lots of time fussing with the audio during editing!
Tenere is tenere
