    @pascal while making these classifications is helpful. It would be more helpful if the PS website could sort skates into this category. Example. Sort skates by fit versus sorting by Speed, Rec, Urban or Aggressive. Farthing that e-commerce partner shops should be offering this style of fit category! Great video! Thanks

    This video is a bit misleading. I think what he is trying to say is that performance boots generally fit tighter than fitness and recreational boots, but he makes it sound like "skaters with narrow feet should buy performance boots, wide feet do recreational boots", which is not correct . The selection of skate boots should based on skaters' skill level and intended skate style. Beginners, no matter how narrow or wide their feet are, are better off starting with recreational/fitness boots with small wheels and high cuff. While advance skaters with wide feet can still skate comfortably in tight performance boots with proper heatmolding. What would be most ideal is to offer skates in multiple widths, like "D" and "EE" in hockey skates, but unfortunately no inline skate brand does that.

      Hi Shaobo Lei, thanks for the clarification. What we (i) try to explain is that narrow fit should get a narrow skate shape (for any segment type - not specially a performance boot one of course. Just telling that performance one are generally more narrow. POWERSLIDE is also trying to offer skates in multiple widths ( we have 5 different one at the moment: ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE SPORTIVE COMFORT UNIVERSAL) . I will check out the content and see if it need some improvement; Thanks for the feedback. Pascal Briand

    I got a next skate 80, and i was surprised that my inner ankle can get very painful. Even when heat moulding tge myfit recall liner. I really dont know which skate to buy anymore. If you can suggest one that has a lot of cushioning next to the inner side of the ankles.

      @@PowerslideInlineskates Thank you, definitely will consider this. I am also thinking of speed shoes size eu39 from final 125 on 3x100 231mm elite frame. Do you think it will help with ankle pain is trinity system compatible?

      Locoskates, alchemyst, hedonskate/bladeville, thisissoul, intuition skateshop, clicnroll, rollerwarehouse, oakcity, thuro, Bayside blades, shredcityskates are all good skate shops. I might have missed some, but they're the main ones I know of. 🙌

      Depends where in the world you are located. I am in Australia so for me it is a different answer to you if you are in another country.

      You pay, then leave with your skates. Or you pay, then skates get shipped to you.

    Is there a carbon boot, high cuff, 3x110 coming up (Tau, Kaze)? I'm tempted by the Arise RD, but scared by the low cuff and racing heritage, not sure if I'm ready for that. I'm not targeting marathons, just having fun cruising through the city.

    • @Koukin87
      @Koukin87 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      you could buy the boot only and get frames and wheels seperatly. so u will have your custome skate.

      @@Koukin87 the problem is which boot? I'm looking for something light, heat-moldable.

      @@horaceg hc evo pro would be your choice then, but the most expensive one. I am using the next boot, a rather heavy boot, but nice for urban too

      Hi, i'm using my Arise Rd to cruise in the city also actually...but like you said i' very used to the racing heritage of the boot. Still if you liked the TAU then you should not be scared about the low cuff... it's not that low actually.... the difference is the fit here then: Arise is a bit more narrow than TAU or HC EVO. @@PowerslideInlineskates Thank you, Pascal! I'll have a look at fiting charts, I think narrower is what I need.
