IMO I think intermittent fasting is a more mindful approach to the ultimate goal of calories in < calories out, which is the fundamental principle of weight loss. If you abstain completely from eating other than a set time, it could keep you from snacking throughout the day and not tracking it. I feel that the biggest challenge is not gorging yourself during the eating period and throwing off your deficit.

We only need one meal a day. When you consume this meal is up to you as long as you don’t eat anything about two hours before sleep. I am a vegan I eat plant based meat with salad some days and on other days I eat a fruit combination. I only drink water and tea no coffee. I am a vegan because I love animals. I am extremely healthy and I can’t remember the last time I saw a doctor for anything. I am not young I am in my sixties, I walk and do laps in the pool and love to dance. We don’t need to get protein from killing animals. Some plants are higher in protein and vitamin B than animal products . It’s not easy when you first start out as a vegan, I gave up twice thinking that my body isn’t going to except this way of life but on the third attempt my body adjusted to this way of life. The headaches weren’t pleasant after the first two attempts but after a little while the headaches went away. If you are serious about reversing the ageing process and reducing the risk of getting cancer and other debilitating diseases I thoroughly recommend the vegan way of life. People call it the Eden diet because we are only designed to eat plants, seeds and grains our bodies weren’t made to consume animals and their products. Meat takes days to digest in the lower intestine Thats why bowel cancer is the number one cancer in America. All these illnesses can be eliminated if you eat clean.

I train muay thai a few times a week and exercise everyday + college work.
