Generation " X " didn't betray their generation by choice , remember we were largely betrayed by our parents and a society that could care less about us , many of us did our parts as much as we could even if that is to be the odd ball telling the veterans at the grocery store and every where else how much they mean to us . We really had little choice , we had to think for ourselves and couldn't give as much as we wanted . No veteran wants us to think like we failed them , they would much rather see the freedom they fought for in action by us living our best lives .

I understood why Woody.EXE made it a special occasion because of my recovery from the illness I contracted in February of that year and was hospitalised. I literally almost suffered a breakdown during the ceremony because I couldn’t believe I was alive to see this day. King Charles speaks so eloquently and with such meaning, honouring all those who took part in that great and bold action. 'From the soldiers, sailors, large ships and small, from men and women he included them all'.
Those veterans still with us and in attendance today were visibly touched by his speech. Queen Camilla stood in silent respect 'and looking stunning too). The Royal family and Queen Camilla's family were involved during the war and to hear King Charles say our future generations should never forget, really touched my heart.
