I have to disagree on the Fury tank...it's an Easy 8 b/c it's got the HVSS. If you look at the tank closely you can see it. The other tanks in the platoon varied. There was an M4, an M4A1 (76mm) and so on.

M4s and M4A1s are different in terms of hull, the M4A1 has a cast rounded upper hull, these are M4s

Actually there was not that much of a difference in the hull the major difference was the fuel system and engine

Damn this guy is a nerd when it comes to tanks...I love it! I watched a Team yankee unboxing just out of curiosity and now I've binge watched everything, just to hear him talk about tanks. Great work!

Would it kill you to assemble some of this?
You used to do it and it was really interesting to see the final product.

Also, the plates on the hull sides are there to add protection to the dry round stowage, never heard of your "fuel line"... Later versions had a wet stowage for the main gun rounds and eliminated the plates on the side.

I really like your videos, keep up the outstanding work!
*M4A5 was not a Sherman. M4A5 was a Canadian vehicle based on the VVSS Chassis and armed with a 6pdr. 2000 were built.

Tanking is a very muddy business. Every field problem resulted in very dirty tanks. It really sucked when you got back into the driver's hole to sleep and it was coated in mud. But it does beat sleeping in a foxhole.

M4 and M4A1 had the same engine, but M4A1 had a round, cast hull. Other A+numbers were different in engine. I'm really confused that no one has said that yet as this is 2 years old video

Aren't these M4s, and not M4A1s? Aren't M4A1s cast hulls? These appear to be welded hulls.

Yep they can only be Shermans M4 or M4A2 but the A2 family almost not got used by the americans! "Ok it got used by the marines"
