It has been working fine now I'm thinking of getting a 3.5 pound trigger for a lighter trigger pull

Did you ever fix this because I have one and there is extra material on the right rail your talking about down in the trigger housing that holds the rail it could be that

Yes the right rail is the one I grind down

What do you use to grind it

You can use a file depending on how much you want to take off but I use a Dremel tool
