Ok so i measured the gap 2.93mm the slide release is 1.92mm so my guess in my other comment was right 1mm to wide ,p80 gap 2,07,big enough to be problem
Sorry man, I'll get a strike if I answer that on TH-cam. They're jerks like that. Howe ver, the Polymer80 reddit sub is a great place to search for answers to questions like yours.
Husky armory gonna get you right they got them all right now it said it don’t come to Philly I ordered and it still came lol I don’t know if it was a glitch or what but 😂😂
All parts kits for all polymer 80% that I know of are Glock generation 3. This is because generation 4 and 5 are still covered by patent protection timelines and therefore if you try and go into that territory, Glock can and will sue you like they did to P80. So gen 3. Except magazines of course. All Glock magazines are backward compatible.
No. For one there would be a large gap at the front since these frames are 19 length. Also, 17, 34, and 17L barrels prior to gen 3 had different lock-up. Only in Glock Gen 5 did they consolidate to a standard lock-up style across all double-stack models within a caliber range. There is no gen 5 17L so you couldn't even take the leap and hope a 17L gen 3 slide with a 17L gen 5 barrel might work.
I can't remember if the 19x was available in gen 3. Only gen 3 slides fit 80% frames. Has to do with patents and which are expired. So if the 19x is a gen 3, then yes. If it is not, which I believe is the case, then no.
I put a gen 5 19 slide basically 19x slide on one you gotta shave the part in the frame where the recoil spring go because the slide to wide it was a lil hard but in the end it worked great
@@lilmarkbigs2.0. Correct. This is an option I've seen. I'm interested in trying it in the future myself. However I'm always apprehensive to mention it or recommend it because I have heard that this makes the rail area of the frame very thin and prone to cracking over time.
@@NotaGuntuber yea most definitely is really thin I can bend with my hand I was nervous about that but it shot really well I’ll say the first 1000 rounds it’s not a problem at all just gotta keep shooting and see if it gives me any cracking witch I really don’t think it is
I have a gen 1 ,that is Junk from the infaumos Slide release gap,got the bit wider one but still dont go into battery enough to call it anything then a waste of my time & $$$, 2 emails to them 3rd just sent now over 1 year & i wont shoot a frame i know will malfunction ,having built a few p80s with no issues ,hope 3 x is the charm for a replacement. gen 2 in pictures i dont see where guys have put shim for it to work right & look like they fixed that issue i would hope at 149.00 now
Correct, gen 2 no longer requires shimming. Well, gen 1 didn't technically require it either as I showed in my other video you commented on. But I still recommend shimming of the gen 1 anyways. But in all honesty, then gen 1 isn't that hard to make work just fine.
