Great! Yes, It depends on the size but you may want to use a chocolate sponge cake instead of rich-type chocolate cake so it can sustain the weight better. I also recommend using a cake ring when you assemble the cake and take it out after the mousse is set completely.
hello Aya, I used creme fraiche epaisse instead of heavy cream since the latter doesn't exist in my country and it had some water in it, I didn't pour it out and started whipping, however it just wouldn't harden up and I kept on doing so until eventually it started looking grainy, do you have any uggestions on what I could do please? I reaaally love your recipes and it would be amazing to try this one ouut 🌻🌻🌻
Hello! That would work best if you can find heavy cream with about 40 - 50% fat content but if that is not available, hopefully you can find something closer to that range. You may need to increase the amount of gelatin in case the whipped cream is very soft. Thank you!😊🙌🏻
