At first was considering the 7600xt (as 16gb vram is a must for me) but with a brand new 1440p 165hz monitor i do want to get the most out of it. So i think the 7800xt is the way to go for me. I was looking at the 6800 but its over a 3 year old card at this point. I cant really justify spending over $500 on a card that will be close to obsolete in 4 to 5 years either.
Just saying, I've got an RX6800 and I got one new for $400. Cheapest I've seen was $380. Paired with a Ryzen 5600X. It does native 1440p ultra just fine IMO. In cities it'll drop into the 50s. And the worst location is loading in Akila City as you enter it through the tunnel bridge, drops into the mid to low 40s for a couple of seconds, then back up to 50. It highly depends on what game you play and at which resolution. If you play CPU heavy games or a lower resolution, then the CPU might be the bottleneck and if you play on a higher resolution or a game with a lower CPU usage, then the better GPU is more important. In my case for example a better CPU is more important since i like to play StarCitizen (a very CPU demanding game). Just look at the games you usually play and at your future upgrading wishes since upgrading a CPU might look cheaper at first but can be significantly more expencive since a new Motherboard and maybe even new RAM (depending on your Hardware) might has to be concidered.
I'm running a 7600 CPU and a 6950 xt card (same brand you showed too) and it runs very nice. Getting good FPS (60+) in Starfield on max settings and has reached like 70 c on the high end of temps.
Games: now you need more gpu Also people designing laptop: IT MUST BE THIN! and also because its so thin we have to use integrated gpu but thats totally ok because our stupid customers will buy it anyways
It also depends on the types of games. Like if he's looking to focus on esports titles but also play triple a games on the side, the first combo will perform better in Val, CS, League, etc.
Just buy a 13600k I have a 4070ti and get 0 bottleneck with my 13600 (if you’re thinking for future proof go amd cos the current intel platform is dead)

I actually saw someone the other day breaking down how GPU utilization in a lot of new games being only utilized at about 75-85% and the cpu is doing a lot of work nowadays. Don’t skimp on the CPU for gaming, if you can grab the highest tier option, get it.
Hi I was wondering if the Ryzen 7 5800 and the RTX 3060 is a good combination on a pc I’m looking to buy let me know. And I love your content keep it up🙂
Planning to buy 7800xt for my 5800x3d, as its best I can buy cheap here.. better ones cost my whole salary so Im good with spending less then half and buy better in future
Or for me I just jumped the GPU up and got a 7900 XTX with the 7800x3d , took me about 6 months of saving 75% of my salary plus more to buy the entire computer plus setup but it will be worth it once I come home and can just play games until I faint
I went to Micro Center and got my 7800x3D for $197.12 with a motherboard combo deal the MSI B650 MAG Tomahawk WiFi for $199.99. Then I got the ASUS Radeon RX 7900 GRE for $599.99 and G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB Series 32GB for $117.99. I got other stuff, but my combos worked for me and I got 24 months 0%. Love it!
Can i know the game you show playing is what game is that?and the combo you make you what brand of motherboard and what brand for the GPU you will recommend? I never ever use an and I would like to buy a new pc so is this the recommendation if I would like to build a gaming pc?
It really depends on your workload If it's a CPU intensive workload (compiling, certain games) you should get the first one If it's a GPU intensive workload (most games) you should get the second one
It depends on the games you play. If you play val , csgo or anything cpu reliant, then you’re better off with a mid range gpu and the best available cpu. Maybe later on you could just get a better gpu in a few years
I went with the 7800xt and the r7 7700x, partly down to sales at the time but also the upgrade path is very simple, only need to do one or two parts over the next few years when i can warrant new parts
This is a good investment if you do a lot of emulation (mainly PS3/Xbox 360 which are cpu intensive to emulate) or if you're playing games that are abhorrently cpu bound like Star Citizen. It's an edge case and honestly I'd prioritize the GPU first, but it all depends on your personal needs really. and that video card certainly isn't bad, if you have issues with it you could drop to 1080p and still get a good experience
Best short yet. Bottlenecking is an issue to an extent but by using a mid card you are bottlenecking yourself on purpose. I still use a 7600x with a 6950xt and it will carry me over the AM5 chipset just fine but if I absolutely wanted to waste money upgrading my card I could while still using the 7600x
Zach is right, but for some people if this was a starting PC build than it may be good. This is because the GPU is much easier to upgrade and install then a new cpu later down the line
So for a PC that would be running games, programming, and 3D renderings. Would you suggest a 7700x and a 7800 XT or a 7900xt, or something completely different?
depends at which resolution he is gonna play too. Probably for 1080p competitive his combo is better but for 1440p ''normal'' then your combo is better

I do actually have this combo: 7800XT+7800X3D+64GB ram 4TB system ssd and lot of storage. I don't only use the PC for gaming. Just 2 days ago I ran out of CPU and RAM while testing grass movement and terrain generation on big scale, and it got loos too fast. Also ran out a few months ago testing an idea for work on a k8s vcluster on my pc (after that I took out an old xeon server (I got for cheap) from storage cabinet and used that ). I don't play AAA, usually more like indie or nostalgic ones. I can extend my ram to 128, but I only do that when I realy need, as I don't have ram active cooler, and even on lower speeds, it gets pretty toasty with 4 sticks stuck together, even if it is only running on a looser timing and on 4800 instead of 5600. I prioratized strong cpu, lot of ram, short gpu, and the naming was nice with both being 7800, hell why not. (I knew what I was doing )

the 7800xt does not feel like just a midrange card when everything is maxed and smooth as glass @ 1440p. i play singleplayer games @ 4k too, just not competitive ones. 7800xt is more than enough
I's say it depends on the game the person is playing and also on the OS they're using cause sure the 7800 XT could do some 4K gaming in Windows but if the person is using something like ChimeraOS or Bazzite most of their games can be played at 4K without any issues and without using any upscales.
I'm currently building a computer intended for high fps 1440p, vr, and also productivity (blender specially). Is the 7800x3d and 4070ti Super a good pairing for that use case?
I run the 7800xt and 3D and it's amazing. I honestly don't understand how much more fps yall need when ur alrdy getting literal hundreds and most of yall got 144hz 1080p/1440p monitors still at best. Only big ballers are rocking quality 165 or 240hz so that extra fps is mostly wasted in most titles where high high fps matters
165hz isn’t big baller for 1440p. But I do agree I cap my fps at 120 when playing story driven single player games and multiplayer games mostly never go under 140 fps anyways
@ChopPvP when monitors start becoming more expensive than a gpu to power it, it's big baller. Those monitors at 165 and 240hz 1440p start at like 350 cheap, and can easily spend 1k

@@EnzoTheDriver Case where integrated graphics are better than an actual gpu
Nah, the 7800x3d will bottleneck. GT 710 won't be going above 1% usage given the beast it is
I'm running a 7600 CPU and a 6950 xt card (same brand you showed too) and it runs very nice. Getting good FPS (60+) in Starfield on max settings and has reached like 70 c on the high end of temps.
Games: now you need more gpu
Also people designing laptop: IT MUST BE THIN! and also because its so thin we have to use integrated gpu but thats totally ok because our stupid customers will buy it anyways
Still would go for the X3D. Much easier to just change the garphics card when lets say 9000 Series Radeon comes out.
i5 14500 + rtx 3070ti it's good pc combo
Get 13500 or 13600
3070ti is trash
@@gintozlato1880completely fine for 1440p
I don’t think so
@@jerdojo452414500 is better
You should do another $1000 builds with the new components that have come out
It's also easier to upgrade a GPU and resell it than to upgrade a CPU, when I built I built with the future in mind
They are the same level of difficulty. Just more chance for something to happen to a cpu.

It also depends on the types of games. Like if he's looking to focus on esports titles but also play triple a games on the side, the first combo will perform better in Val, CS, League, etc.
What do you think about the combo i9 13900k + rtx 4070 super
Just buy a 13600k I have a 4070ti and get 0 bottleneck with my 13600 (if you’re thinking for future proof go amd cos the current intel platform is dead)
Maybe a better GPU no need for a 13900
Nah that CPU is way overpowered for 4070
Get it only if you're a full time streamer/video editor or something with other programs running on a side
For gaming u will be just fine with Ryzen 5 7500F (cheapest option that handles 4070 without bottleneck)
Ryzen 7 7700 or 7700x can do all that i9 can do for a cheaper price
13600k or 13700k better value
Initial combo can help with futureproofing
By eventually selling the GPU and getting a better one to increase CPU usage
amd ryzen 5 3600 and GTX 550 😎
Bro got the most overpriced set up
I wouldn't be surprised if you were Indian.

Actually no... You would be making bank from the call center if that were the case.

And I love your content keep it up🙂
I would not buy a 3060 in the current market as they are too expensive for their performance

Love it!
is the amd ryzen 5600 and XF Speedster QICK308 Radeon 7600a good combo for sim racing?
Can i know the game you show playing is what game is that?and the combo you make you what brand of motherboard and what brand for the GPU you will recommend? I never ever use an and I would like to buy a new pc so is this the recommendation if I would like to build a gaming pc?
seeing this short made me really content with my build choices since i'm building w/ a 7800 x3d and a 7900 xt
It really depends on your workload
If it's a CPU intensive workload (compiling, certain games) you should get the first one
If it's a GPU intensive workload (most games) you should get the second one
would a nvidea rtx 4070 12 gb graphics card and a AMD ryzen 7 7700x 8 core cpu be a good combo?
Bro we gonna start seeing our games in slow mo if these fps get any higher 😂
Best short yet. Bottlenecking is an issue to an extent but by using a mid card you are bottlenecking yourself on purpose. I still use a 7600x with a 6950xt and it will carry me over the AM5 chipset just fine but if I absolutely wanted to waste money upgrading my card I could while still using the 7600x
I gotta xfx rx580 and a ryzen 5 2600 which should I upgrade first?
Zach is right, but for some people if this was a starting PC build than it may be good. This is because the GPU is much easier to upgrade and install then a new cpu later down the line
Please recommend a gpu for i39100f + 16gb ram + 600 watt psu
Is a ryzen 7 7800x3d with 4070 ti super good combination?
So for a PC that would be running games, programming, and 3D renderings. Would you suggest a 7700x and a 7800 XT or a 7900xt, or something completely different?
can you make the best 1000-1100$ build with an RTX GPU? (aesthetics not important, preferrebly all black)
depends at which resolution he is gonna play too. Probably for 1080p competitive his combo is better but for 1440p ''normal'' then your combo is better
Paired the 7800x3d with a 7900GRE and it’s awesome. Thought about the 7900xt but wasnt worth the extra $200 for me. Got the x3d as part of a bundle that made it way cheaper than it should have been.
Have you done a short or a video about which is better, an RX 6950xt or an RX 7900GRE?
I've always wondered. Why is the PC industry so fast in ushering out new CPUs and GPUs?
If you play more cpu intensive games keep it elsewise i'd follow zach
For an rtx 2060 founders edition, what would be the best lga 1150 processor for gaming for 200$ or less
I7 4790k but dont invest in that motherboard..get a modern one
Hey, would you pair a 7 7800X3D, 7 9700X or a 7 7700 with a RX 7700 XT? I'm going to run davinci Resolve on it and at other times I will run a heavily modded minecraft server while playing on it from the same machine with two other players on other computers.

450w psu.
Is this enough for Casual 1080p gaming+Recording and Rarely streaming. Or, Is there any better valued parts for the same budget.

As a Hunt: Showdown player, the 3D cache on that CPU has increased my fps WAYYY too much lol

@@GenericTH-camViewer he basically takes any advertisement and advertises it like personal opinion, even if the product is completely useless or, in the case of the antivírus possibly dangerous. Is a 7800X3D and an RTX 4070 Ti Super a good combo?
yes
I play games at 720p or 1089p at most 60hz and single player offline just need a basic PC to do this. What would you recommend.
I have ryzen 7 5800x and 7800xt what upgrade do you recommend
Nothing at the moment, or if you have cash to burn, change the cpu for 5800x3d.
Me who plays arma. The one of the few that actually relies on a good CPU to run smoothly as graphics isn't necessarily the most intense part of the game. A 14900ks and 4090 struggles at hitting above 120fps at 4k highest settings. I don't think I've ever seen anyone achieve higher than 200fps at any reasonable resolution
question is it bad that i have a 4060 ti 8gb from gigabyte (eagle oc) and an i5 11400f paired?
Depends entirely on what resolution you want to play at tbh
Agreed boss! But for ex. if you wanna play Escape from Tarkov in 1080 or 1440 at HIGH u need more the 7800x3D than the 7800XT. I wanna buy this combo for EFT compatibility, that’s why I think in this situation is better from the 7600 and 7900xt😅 What do u think about it???
I had exactly this combo planned 💀 i guess i gotta pay more for the 7900xt, cause i want the x3d
Depends on what resolution you play at. At 1080p CPU is most important at 1440p the GPU is most important basically having a faster CPU will not give you any big gains in 1440p. I got the 7800x3d and 7900xtx for 1440p.
Ideal ratio at this moment is this: 1:3 cost of cpu/gpu and that will work perfectly well
Agree, im in the same boat. Tho in my case, as I play mostly flightsim and racingsims, which befit a lot from extra 3D cache, i’ll prob settle for a slightly lesser gpu. These game just live and die on good CPU’s. 😊
Personally, I'm building a pc for programming and software design but there's 10x more content online about building for gaming. He'd want the more powerful cpu if he's also building for a core heavy project.
the 7800xt does not feel like just a midrange card when everything is maxed and smooth as glass @ 1440p. i play singleplayer games @ 4k too, just not competitive ones.
7800xt is more than enough
Is the Ryzen 7 5800x and a 4070 a good combo or will it bottleneck (main game is Fortnite)
Do you have any hardware recommendations for a first time gaming pc builder
@@koenigcertified thanks bro
I's say it depends on the game the person is playing and also on the OS they're using cause sure the 7800 XT could do some 4K gaming in Windows but if the person is using something like ChimeraOS or Bazzite most of their games can be played at 4K without any issues and without using any upscales.
I'm currently building a computer intended for high fps 1440p, vr, and also productivity (blender specially). Is the 7800x3d and 4070ti Super a good pairing for that use case?
What motherboard is the best to buy now so I can make my PC upgradable in long term with other components?
Is the NVidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super and Intel Core i7 13700K a good combination.
Yes
Is the 7800x3d + rtx 4070 ti super a good combination?
It's a fine pairing, but for gaming the 4070ti super is terrible, it is worse than the 7900XT that is $100 less.
7800x3d with a 4090, is that alright ? I’ve been told there’s gonna be some bottleneck but does it even matter at this point ?
Those are the two best components you can get, yes that's a fine pairing.
I have that combo. im waiting for the 50 series to drop, then i can get a 40 series cheaper
