TinHifi C5 - Way too laid back!

I am a TinHifi fan boy , let me make that perfectly clear and putting aside the more expensive Planars , i pretty much own every model made by them.
So it was normal that I was looking forward to the C5, I wanted to see what TinHifis interpretation of the SPD technology was going to be like.
Perhaps the expectation was my fault , but the truth was it did not rock my boat....perhaps there will be people that enjoy it's warmer presentation.
But let me explain a little better.
Bass is full, rich and engaiging, mids tonaly correct with good dynamics , but it's the above 6k .....BA territory that the approach was too conservative, and as such we get a warm sound, but one thats lacking In micro details, sense of air, imaging.....all those aspects take a second row seat, and considering it's price and competition, there is truly nothing that it does better than its siblings , TinHiFI C2, C3, T2 DLC ....all cheaper, and honestly let's not get into the P1Max , as that one will totally obliterate the C5!
I look forward to a revised version!
