Omg I know right! The tangles are so real! I tried doing this with my freshly washed hair and ended up with nothing but tangles… it was so bad! Stretching the hair beforehand works really well though!😍

Braidouts n twists make my hair look thinner. I wash and go and I dont go all the way to the roots to make it fuller when it dries

@Star i apply products more to the shaft and ends of my hair. Ill use either a leave in( which doesn't give much hold or a liquid jelly works well and doesn't weigh my hair down.) Just rake in product like a normal wash and go but stay 1 to 2 inches from the roots when applying the product

I do just 2 big braids with on my hair with hair milk and Shea butter and it comes out really defined but I know what you mean about having more sections because then the top parts are also defined

As for the definition, I completely get only needing to do 2 braids! My hair comes out really nice with only 2 braids as well; especially when they're cornrows. 🤗💛

Ohhh, that sounds beautiful!! I've noticed that less truly is more when it comes to fine natural hair. It's actually a blessing in disguise because means much less time spent doing my hair! LOL
My go to style is a Revair stretched halo twist. Haven’t tried a braid out, but I will give your technique a try soon.

I am so glad to finally find this video! It was so comforting to see that you achieved this cute look with only four braids. I cannot tell you how many videos I have seen of other women with NOT FINE hair, doing 10-20 braids. When I tried this many on my hair, wet or dry, it was a complete disaster! I did finally figure out that I had to start any braid out with stretched, dry hair. I use the banding method on the night of my air dried wash-n-go to get stretched hair. Maybe I'll use the dryer with the air concentrator, and then do the braid out. I'll figure it out, but your method is giving me life! Thank you for these tips!

Thanks for watching and for sharing your thoughts with me about this video! In terms of my skin, I'm not sure what the condition is called because it hasn't been fully determined, but every so often, I get super dry, itchy skin around my hairline.
My dermatologist has stated that it's contact dermatitis however we are still monitoring the situation to determine exactly what causes it, since it seemingly comes out of nowhere sometimes. As for discussing it on my channel, I haven't really discussed it in details on the channel but I certainly can if this is something you'd be interested in :)
I usually keep my hair approximately 8 twists then put into a twistout or if that fails a puff to style

In terms of hair styles for women over 70, I would recommend trying the style in the video minus the bang if you feel like it's not necessary. Wash and gos are great if your hair doesn't coil/curl up on itself too much and so are twist outs and braid outs. I hope this helps 🤗😄

Curl Dynasty is not as easily accessible on ground for me. I was shocked to be able to purchase it at a local grocery store. Used to be in Walgreens & always sold out fast. I have been wanting to try this line. I know many curl beauties speak well about Curl Dynasty.

My hair has never been healthier, but I used to think it was damaged as well. If your hair looks like mine then chances are likely that your hair is not damaged either.💛
First I would say that your hair is absolutely beautiful, nevertheless I myself from what I am seeing wouldn't say your hair is thin nor fine, my hair is 3b [very thin] naturally curl is why I say this however this is only my opinion, thank you for this video [absolutely NO disrespect]

Yeah, you're 100% right! I believe there is a rare skin condition that causes allergic reactions to water! The human body is an incredible thing! 😅

This is a great question as I've also had a bit of trial and error with my bonnets, but the trick for me has been choosing a well-fitted bonnet based on my need to protect my edges yet keep the bonnet on my scalp. I love your hair. My hair is fine but I wish it was as thick as yours. My hair cant hold any style for long- especially braids. It's frustrating becaue I am working a job with a uniform so I want to always keep it from getting boring. I don't even know how to describe my hair just super soft and fine, I have a mix of my dad's soft hair from my grandma. I have had stylists say I have their grandmother's hair-lol. I wanna go into work tomorrow with something different. I have done wash and go's for a while and need something new.

Hey Bijyo, Aloe vera gel works extremely well! Just be careful with how much you use because a lot of gel can weigh the hair down or cause it to revert. 💛🙌🏾

@@triple_T Yes! Tons of knotting and tangling is very common with fine natural strands as they love to love each other! How often do you deep condition your hair? I've noticed that this tends to help a lot; in addition to getting regular trims every 3 months.

This is definitely fine and in the lower end of density, so closer to thin than thick. Look Up fine hair high density and you'll see a huge difference. Some people do have hair thinner (less dense) than this though. But this is fine lower density hair. And length can also make hair look thicker and she has a good length. This is the length I'm trying to get too because my hair will look much more full.
